Remote works fine with the Philips sound-bars with starting series with “HTL”.This remote is heavier and bigger than the original remote that was given with the sound-bar. This remote uses 2 batteries.

I bought this remote after the seller said it was compatible with my Philips Soundbar Speaker Htl7180. However, the remote simply doesn’t work, no matter what I try. This is clearly false advertising, and it feels like a complete scam. It fails to connect or control any functions of my speaker and now I’m left with a useless product that doesn’t even serve its basic purpose. Save yourself the frustration and money—avoid this remote at all costs!

This remote uses 2 batteries unlike the original remote with one batteries. Further the positive head of the battery needs to be placed on the spring side. This was one thing which had confused me for sometime in the beginning. Please check this while you are placing the batteries or else you may think that you have received a faulty remote.Rest everything is fine and works good from the farthest point of a 12 by 12 square feet room.

Doesn't support Philips htl2163b/12 soundbar. Waste of money. No return policy
