what are the dynamic modes?

Hi, thank you for your question! Our outdoor string lights are designed with 18 static colors(16 single colors + 2 mixed colors) and 7 dynamic modes. About the 7 dynamic modes: FADE: Lights slowly fade through all the colors JUMP: Lights jump through all the colors ASYN FADE: Lights fade through the multicolor(dynamic) ASYN JUMP: Lights jump through the multicolor(dynamic) IN WAVES: Lights change color and in waves meanwhile STROBE(Two Options): White light strobe in red/green/blue/pink, white light strobe in red & blue TWINKLE(Two Options): red & blue twinkle/ red & green twinkle/ green & blue twinkle/ white & red & blue twinkle Attached a video of the dynamic modes. How do I make the remotes work? I removed the film from the battery, but still neither remote would work on the lights.

Does it work with the manual switch? If you press it. The part of the lights, sensor, that the remote work off of could be bad.

Can I purchase a remote for G40. Lost first one.

Check with supplier on Amazon, otherwise you'll have to change manually as there is button on wires near plug that changes lights

Can you make them stay on a solid color? like just all Blue?

Hi, yes you can make them stay on a solid color by the remote, there are 16 single colors and 2 mixed colors of the lights for you to choose, and you can also choose 7 dynamic modes if you like :)
