I Expect To Throw These Out
I received the berries and was very surprised to see that the label says to wash them before use (see photo). I have never seen it recommended for dried berries to be washed. So I messaged the seller and asked why these need to be washed. The response I received was, "They are not prewashed. You basically need to rinse them." Fresh berries are nice and smoothe and easy to wash. Dried berries are sticky and full of wrinkles and depressions. Dirt will stick to the sticky and hide in the wrinkles and depressions, so I don't see the berries getting clean. Why do they not wash them before drying? Anyway, since I can't believe that rinsing dried berries will get them clean, I expect simply to throw these out.
