Using this product as a gimbal extension works great. I am impressed with how compact iand lightweight t is for carry.

Nice product, nothing fancy. Telescopic action. Can be a bit sticky on the collapse, which may become problematic over time with wear and eventual breakage. Unfolds like your own light Saber, ready for action. Attach your gimbal and you are ready to shoot a selfie at a distance or swoop in low or up high with your camera for more creative shots

It can over-tighten if you don’t tighten as you go. Don’t hold the base and extend the whole thing and use the base as counter pressure. It’s more durable than I thought!

This is the twist-lock version. Positive that you can lock it at whatever length you want. negative that it feels quite delicate (the lock mechanism) so questionable whether this one will last the year. The rid itself is pretty sturdy.
