A simple yet powerful speaker. Great for casual listening.
Pros 👍🏻 - Excellent sound quality. Clearly separate different instruments & vocal. Although the built-in equalizer (control thru app) is very simple one (bass & treble only), you can easily get crispy vocal & powerful bass to suit your need. - WiFi connection (That's one of the essential features I need) - Easy setup (Both single use & multi-room system) - Can name the speaker for easy identification - Speaker presets for saving playlists/radio stations - Minimal outlook Cons 👎🏻 - Without Wired LAN - Either power-on or standby mode only, without real power-off switch. - Sound distortion if volume tuned over 70%-75% (I usually go below 50% so not a problem for me) - App design (can be more intuitive & user-friendly) - The regular price is expensive imo (but I got it with very reasonable discount on last Black Friday Sales🤭) Looking for improvement 🔧 - A more detailed equalizer for fine tuning - Ability to preset several equalizer settings for different use

This is one great sounding speaker
I'm a bit of an audio nut - not too extreme, but I like/have good gear and can appreciate high quality, accurate sound (many years ago as a teenager I worked in a high end hi-fi store). I read countless reviews prior to purchasing this speaker - I wanted something that was high quality - not overly bassy, nor something I needed to blast at a party. I've only used this for a few days but am already very impressed - well balanced, good amount of depth, definition/clarity without being harsh. I mostly stream using Airplay2 from my Ipad/SiriusXM/Spotify and the sound is great. The setup was a bit funky - it took a few tries for things to connect and the app would say it wasn't connected yet it was - needs a bit of work but was able to get things running smoothly - but the sound is well worth it! Oh, and the MKII is definitely an improvement over the earlier version - broader soundstage, cleaner bass and overall sound. Definitely kicked it up a notch!

near-field speaker
I have auditioned DOZENS of speakers in all price ranges. (thanks to Amazon's liberal return policy) The C5 and C10 along with the Audioengine B2 are my choice for near-field listening. But, no one speaker is best for all situations so let me explain. I have the speaker sitting 2 ft away from my ears on a side table. The detail and clarity of the Addon C5 is superb - the best of any speaker I've auditioned including some really good names like Vanatoo, Kanto, KEF Q150, Infinity, Sony, Sonos, Denon 350, Beolit17 and more. The mid range and high range detail is just more accurate - again at the close range I'm evaluating it at. I can't speak about room-filling sound. To compare apples-to-apples I removed the grills on all that I could except the Sonos5 and Beolit7 because they were not removable. Being a single block, this speaker can't achieve the separation that a pair of bookshelfs can achieve due to physics, so I didn't consider this attribute because I'm evaluating this for near-field listening. The C5 doesn't have the bass heft of a pair of bookshelfs that have larger woofers, but this is where it gets interesting: the Addon has a subwoofer output! Using this is cheating I guess, but if it allows easy connection to a sub that I happened to have lying around. With sub connected the combo beats any of the speakers I tried, hands down. (Keeping in mind that it is the sub that is providing the bass below 50Hz) My listening diet is heavy on electronica and instrumetnals so bass is important. If you are only listening to poorly-recorded oldies and radio-friendly pop, then you're not hearing the musical detail anyway - save your money and buy a $50 radio. The WiFi connection does offer perceptibly better sound quality than Bluetooth. The bluetooth connection is great - the speaker is always standing by at the ready and once I start Spotify my phone finds the Addon automatically every time. Finally, when connected to a TV output jack, there is a delay of about 2 seconds so the sound doesn't snyc with the TV picture. Its a shame but this delay makes it un-suable use as an output for a TV. Finally, there is a very annoying delay of about 10 seconds (at least in Wifi mode) Any time you change a song, you wait 10 seconds for it to take effect. This makes it unlistenable for podcasts if you are skipping around. So I just reverted to using my phone speakers. I deducted one star for this problem.

Ture High Fidelity Sound
Awesome speaker for the price point (Paid 2 bills). The speaker produces true high Hi Fi sound when used via Airplay with Hi Res files/streaming e.g. Amazon HD, Tidal. The volume, however, is not linear and needs to be turned up high to get to normal listening volumes. Overall volume is not super loud, but the quality of the sound is second to none. Also, speaker looks great!

Terrible Quality Control
First one I ordered was "lost" in the mail. So, I cancelled and reordered. The buttons on my unit are broken. The volume up and down buttons do nothing. The aux button does not work (I plugged in my phone and the aux port will not turn on -- the light above it remains dark). The On/Standby button turns the unit off but will not make the unit go into standby mode. I'm so sad. I was really excited about getting this speaker. But, the quality control is terrible. If you look through reviews, you'll see that buttons don't work on a lot of people's speakers. The sound quality was pretty decent but I couldn't really test out sound quality because I could only max the volume on my phone but not able to turn up the volume on the speaker. Hence, all my testing was on whatever the default setting for the speaker is...which is not very loud.

Love it
Wifi connection works very well so that I bought 4 C10 MK II currently and plus one sub. One can turn off all the connected speakers by pushing only one bottom. Quality of sound is great. Really love it. I plan to buy 2 more when there is a discount.

Great choice for quality audio from a single speaker
Tried a lot of speakers, from small Bluetooth only, to higher priced audiophile quality WiFi & Bluetooth. This one get’s the mix of frequency right for me. I went back & forth between the C10 & the C5, which was at a great reduced price (with coupon), but the extra wattage that comes with the C10 makes a huge difference in the sound quality. I have an extensive high end audio background & this little speaker put’s out the sound quality. However, speakers are a thoroughly subjective choice! Some people like “boomy” bass, & others prefer crisp highs, natural or tight bass, & good midrange for vocals. I lean towards the latter, so take that for what it’s worth. I’m happy with my choice, & I love just having a simple way to stream music after a long day, without firing up my main system. So try a few if you can before buying!

Disappointed to the MAX
This is not a review for sound as I have yet to hear it. I didn't give it a 1 star because when you hover on 1 star it says "I hate it" when I don't, it is too good looking to hate. Let me start at the beginning...a friend of mine bought the Monster Soundstage Mini and it sounded great for being so small. I was in market for a new more compact speaker so instead of mirroring my friend I decided to see what else was out there that may be similar. I came across the Audio Pro Addon T10 Gen2 and thought, what a sexy looking speaker box. I did a little research on it but not much info on the web, mostly for the original T10. At the time there were only 2 reviews here on Amazon, one positive and the other negative, the negative stated some of the buttons don't work, so I weighed that comment and thought maybe it was a one-off. So in the end I decided to order the T10 Gen2 over the Monster Soundstage, why...2 reasons, the woofer is in the front as oppose to the back and I think the T10 just plain looks better. Okay let me cut to the chase, when I finally got my hands on it and pulled it out the box, WOW pretty!!! So nice and compact, very steady with a beautiful black finish. Plugged in the power cord, plugged into the AUX port with the other end into my iPod touch, pressed the ON/STBY button and nothing. Pressed it a little harder and still nothing. I instantly felt sick to my stomach but I kept at it. The box had power because the AceBass button on the back works and it also charges the iPod with the charge port. There isn't much to try, hitting the standby/auto on switch on the back and trying it on both with no luck. Then I remembered the one review that stated some of their buttons don't work, well NONE of my buttons do. Or maybe just the ON button doesn't which makes the rest useless. None of the 2 lights on the top of the box comes on or flashes or anything, therefore a have bought a lemon and I could not be more disappointed. I would just send it back but that would be a big hassle as I do not live in the US, I am on an island in the middle of nowhere. I ordered the T10 on Jan 1 and received it in my possession on Jan 22, just to give you an example of how long it took to get it. Like I said, sending it back would be difficult. So I guess I am stuck with a good looker but no sounder, $200+ down the drain and I just want to cry. Can anyone from Audio Pro help me...? Probably not being I didn't buy from them, thanks Your Supply Company for the letdown, even though its not your fault. How can this pricey speaker have such a flaw in its design is the question? Any takers on the answer...
