Sears 161-53770
Works amazing in my sears 161-53770 typewriter. Installation was easy, ink is nice and dark. The price is really reasonable for 4 rolls of ribbon.

Great replacement for older typewriters
These worked quite well for the price. Grandkids love playing with the old manual typewriter. Tried them on multiple typewriters. Size is correct. Happy with the purchase.

Good price.
I have antique typewriter, so the ribbon wheels don't fit. So I loaded the ribbon onto the antique ones. If you think that it isn't working, clean your keys.

Either horribly dry or completely ink-less
Just tried to use these to replace a ribbon and it seems like there's no ink. It fit on the spools but it doesn't type at all, not even a shadow of ink. I could even tell when I opened them that the ribbons are completely dry. I'm very disappointed but they were cheap and I guess I can try re-inking them but that is not what I was expecting when I bought them. I could just re-ink the original vintage ribbon in that case because these are also cheap quality. Zero stars if I could.

Worked great!
I used these on some old 1940s typewriters. I kept some on the plastic spools they came on and transfered some to metal spools instead. Popped right in and worked well! Didn't punch holes right through it. Keep in mind I don't use the typewriters regularly but these worked well for our sporadic use and regular testing as I tinkered.
