Great flashlight for a kid. Rubber grip not too bright. Solid build.

These are the best little lights. Really bright and wont stop working when you drop it like the high dollar flashlights. And another reason I bought these the switch is either on or off. Not some stupid high, Low, Strobe nonsense. When I need a flashlight I want it to turn On and be Bright and then off. If I wanted a stupid strobelight I would buy one!

Two of my kids have these flashlights and they really like them a lot. One kid got one for his birthday and the other boy liked it so much he asked for one just like it. Now their younger brother wants one too and I’m planning on buying one for him for his birthday as well. They especially like how bright they are and I’m thankful for how durable they are. I don’t have to be concerned about them breaking after being dropped. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the flashlight. And they aren’t just for kids. My husband and I have borrowed them from the kids when we’ve needed them too.

THE BAD: Wrong size and wrong color. The color as of this posting is blue, but they gave me yellow. (I need a color other than yellow to help distinguish it from the MANY other yellow flashlights I already have.) Also, it's a smaller size than the flashlights I normally buy from this brand. Sorta my own fault for not paying attention to the details, but it's a very easy mistake to make and the price is almost the same too adding to my confusion in making the wrong selection. THE GOOD: It's still a fantastic value for what you're paying and it's NOT so small that you might lose it somewhere. (I hate ultra-small flashlights because you can never find them when you need them.) I mean, for just a few dollars, you're getting a reliable flashlight that works well, has a great rubber grip that feels fantastic in the hands, and will last a very long time reliably -- and all this for just a few dollars. And it doesn't look or feel "cheapy" either. So, no, in spite of the cons, I am NOT going to return it.

For the price you really cant go wrong. Bright enough for normal / usual situations. Weatherproof, feels good in the hand and not bulky. Only downside I found, the switch. Not real easy to hit, underneath the rubberized coating and small. If you were wearing gloves you would probably struggle to find it. I did without gloves until I got "used to it" I would buy another and/or recommend as an emergency light / take dog out at night etc. It wont blow you away with brightness but a good solid comfortable light. Update, I take back my original thinking on this. I am used to the switch though it could be more accessible/bigger. Large unit for a lot of 45 lumen lights I have tortured this unit freezing/rain/fell off a motorcycle at 45 mph. (and sort of "bounced") etc. and still keeps bangin` out the light. Probably not the brightest you`ll own, but a fine durable (so far) product you can depend on.

I think this is a great light for the price. Plenty bright small enough so you can put it in your pocket and a great light. The only thing I find bad is the on off switch is sometimes hard to locate in the dark. I solved this by putting a small piece of material used to take the slip out of steps it looks similar to sand paper and has glue on the other side. Finding the abrasive spot takes the fumbling out of it. Jake

- it has a black rubber body. it is used in the dark. A switch at the bottom is easy to find. This light has a switch on its side which takes some fumbling to find. - It's hard to find but the packaging card says that California requires a warning about the light having potentially carcinogenic materials. I didn't see this in the Amazon description. - It's a comfortable, bright light which can kill you and cannot be easily turned on.
