What is the difference between these 3D bags and the regular miele FJM bags?

3D bags are softer allowing better expansion and breathing. Which will then capture more particles.

Will these fit my Miele deluxe canister vacuum S2471?

They fit but not well. They are made smaller all around than the one's I buy from the store. I ordered the correct size because I cut the model number from the box.

Vacuum bags are designed to capture large particulate such as dirt, pet hair etc.Filters are designed to capture smaller particulate .That is why HEPA filters are better still because they capture the smallest particulate such as pet dander,mold spores etc. Hope you found this helpful!
