Really didn't see any effect on my granite so I can't say whether it worked or not.

I was very pleased with this product. It is easy to use and leaves my counters feeling smooth and a bit slippery. It might be wise to avoid overspray onto floor. I feel like the counters look shinier and clean up a bit easier after treating. It wasn’t hard to spray on and took very little effort to buff out. Because it only takes a small amount so it is cost effective and a good bargain. It does not have a detectable smell and all smell fades upon drying.

This product is easy to use and it works! I was unhappy that my granite in my new home wasn't shiny and smooth and really thought I was going to be forced to pay too much money to have them sealed. I read reviews on the Black Diamond products and decided to call and talk to someone at the Company as another reviewer had done. I explained my problem to the very nice man who answered the phone and he says this product was the one I should use. When it arrived, I was excited to try it. I cleared my counters, and began. I sprayed one section, and wiped it with a soft cloth. I continued until all the counters were done. The counters were shinier, water beaded up on them and they looked so much better! The product has a bit of a smell, which can be a problem for me, but it didn't bother me. My only caution is to avoid overspray. I got some on my floors, and wiped it up right away. It made my floor very slippery in that spot. I believe if your counters are not shiny, and not beading water, you will be happy with this product. I have found I need to reapply it about every 3 weeks. I'm very happy with this product and will continue to use it.
