These stands were quick and easy to install. They look good next to my TV and are hefty enough that I'm not worried about knocking them over. Make sure to measure your speakers and TV height to make sure they'll work in your space.

stable - sturdy - good materials - Perlegear 28 Inch Floor Speaker Stand Pair, Holds 22lbs - PGSS6 - These speaker stands are surprisingly stable. These speaker stands also seem adequately sturdy. - The base of the Perlegear Floor Speaker Stands is made of tempered glass. The tempered glass used for the speaker stand base adds more weight near the floor, hopefully lowering the center of gravity and thereby increasing the stability of these speaker stands. Glass is certainly better than the cut-rate MDF fiberboard used for the bases of some similar speaker stands. At least one of the other speaker stand models sold by Perlegear uses ugly "MDF" fiberboard (side note - it's just so sad that we live in an era when its cheaper to make cut-rate fiberboard from saw dust using an elaborate manufacturing process than to just cut some real wood from a tree). - By my measurement, the height from the floor to the top of the Perlegear 28 Inch Floor Speaker Stand, with the rubber floor feet installed is 28.25 ( 28 1/4) inches. In other words this aspect of the Perlegear 28 Inch Floor Speaker Stand product description is accurate. - These stands would be better if the top platform were a little bit larger. The top platform measure 7.75 ( 7 3/4) inches square. The top platform would be better if it were at least 9 inches square. For safety, I have attached my speakers to the upper platform using double sided 3M brand mounting tape. Consequently if the speaker were to fall over, both the speaker and the stand would fall. However, that seems less likely given the low center of gravity created by the thick heavy tempered glass base. - Made from decent stainless steel and tempered glass, these Perlegear 28 Inch Floor Speaker Stands seem sturdy, stable, and overall pretty good.

They were delivered on time and packaged well. Very easy to assemble, took about 15 minutes total. The glass looks sleek and sexy. They hold my Elac Debut 3.0 B63s very well. I love these. Definitely recommend.

I do not dish out five star reviews often, but this product deserves it and more. The tempered glass base at the bottom, and the tempered glass top plate foe the speaker are made of very stylish tempered dark glass. Also the vertical column is made out of plated steel with two holes. At the bottom for the speaker wire coming in from the amplifier, and at the top for the wire to go into the speaker. All this for a very modest price. You will not regret buying these speaker stands.

Nice looking, sturdy and easy to assemble.

These were perfect for my bookshelf speakers. They assembled easily and are a perfect hight. They are on either side of of the fireplace. My speakers have rear ports where a lot of bass comes from and the hard tiled wall around the fireplace reflects the sound well. These were interesting to find the shelf for the speakers and for the base are made of glass. They look great. You have to make sure you use it with the right size speaker. Mine are are nine inches wide and are just slightly wider than the top of stands. Above the fireplace is my big flat screen and now the speakers are perfectly positioned for the TV for when you want theater-like Multimedia. One tip: you need to fish the fire through the tubes before putting them together. If you try to get the wire through after assembling you will become very frustrated. I love these stands. They look good and get my speakers right where I want them to be.

Spent a fair bit of time trying to find a pair of stands for my book shelves, and where I didn't have to break the bank. Pros: This one is reasonably well built, and has holes to run cables - very imp to me (and to the missus). Nice glass stand and base. Cons: A tad light and I worry that it could be toppled over easily. Might not be the best option if you plan to place heavy and/or expensive book shelves (mine are 10 year old pair of Jamos and close to being replaced, so...)
