The blade pivot bolt was not tight, allowing the blade too gap away from the anvil. Could not cut through a 1/2 inch diameter brush this way. Tightened it up and blue thread locked it. Blades are NOT sharp. Have to take them apart and sharpen. Still not as good as my 10 year old Coronas. I needed a different pruner that I can take with my on trail rides for pruning face slapper branches. After all the fixing it's just OK.

Fairly disappointed in these pruners. The ad claims 1" cutting capacity, they struggle to cut things half that diameter. Also the pivot screw started backing out almost immediately. I had to take it out and put lock tight on it so it wouldn't keep getting loose.

After 3 uses to clip Lady Banks rose vines, the blades separated and now they will not cut anything. These pruners were a waste of money. Stanley tools have always been my choice until now. S.F.

You know what happens when you apply pressure to the inverted curved handles of the loopers when your trying to cut a thicker branch…they bend!!! Horrible design!!! Horrible!!!
