Fair value
Works as advertised - holds a charge for a long time and seems to have better reserve power than the original battery that came with drill. These batteries are a little "pricey" but that is true of all replacement batteries regardless of the make of the drill. This battery works well but is not inexpensive.

Drains very quickly compared to stock part.
Doesn't hold much of a charge. This thing drains very quickly compared to the one that came with the drill, and that one has been used & abused for years.

Good deal for the money
Worked perfectly and holds a full charge for quite awhile. When it's time to replace the battery pack this is a good deal.

Avoid Ryobi Ni Cad battery packs
Ryobi 9.6 and 12 volt NiCad battery packs are mediocre at best compared to Porter Cable and DeWalt. Comment based on using /replacing 5 Ryobi battery packs. When last one fails completely (holds about 50% charge) the whole drill goes in the recycle bin.

The product was as advertised and delivered promptly. The main problem is that the cells in the pack are old, showing just under 5v on receipt. A NiMH battery does not like being below about 0.8v per cell. In an 8-cell pack like these, that is 6.4v. The question is "Will the packs lives have been shortened"? Check your stocks!!!
