Santa Claus Suit Christmas Flannel Velvet Plush Adult Classic Costume for Men

I got this suit to use for a book signing event where people could bring their dogs to get pictures with Santa. My friend graciously dressed as Santa and he was a hit with dogs and kids. The suit looks good, though he said it's fairly hot, so a t-shirt and shorts underneath was a good choice. You can see the boot covers look pretty good with black shoes (his own). I think at this event (pictured), his 2nd or 3rd for me, he wore the wig backwards, but we didn't realize it until it was over. The hat is hard to fit over the wig, so we had to clip it to the wig, but I didn't deduct a star because this looks so good for the price.

Perfect fit and so easy! Be sure to unpackage well before use so the wrinkles fall out. Fabric is thin so we wore something under.

I usually only write reviews for products I give 5-star ratings. I'm treating this a little different because I really didn't put a lot of research into something that should have been an important purchase. First, I think that representing Santa Claus is pretty serious business and I think Santa Suits should uphold a pretty basic level of believability. That said, I think the quality of the pants and jacket were OK. But the fit was awkward at best. The belt didn't fit me even though the pants and jacket were both fine, which was a little peculiar. The hat was sized for a very small head. Maybe my head is big, but I don't feel like an orange on a toothpick or anything and the hat just didn't work either, so I had two things that weren't working but when I put the beard on, it was all over.. The beard was sparse and thin at best and you could see the elastic through. I couldn't wear the suit and blow up the Santa Clause image for my grandkids. It was not an expensive option and maybe if I was looking for a Santa-esque outfit to wear to a party or holiday football game or something, but it's not on par if you're trying to pull off Santa for children who are important to you.
