On some compression fittings, you don't get a perfect seal unless you tighten ridiculously tight. This is ok, if you never intend to take it apart. With this product, you get a perfect seal with much less tightening force. Easy to repair in the future and will even stop those micro-leaks.

Very good cord, not sticky but sticks in the threads well. Best suited for larger threads (3/4" pipe and up) but can work on finer threads.
