Sanders Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels (32 oz Tub) – Handcrafted Small Batch Slow Cooked Caramel, Sea Salt Dark Chocolate with Rich Indulgent Flavor, Sweet & Salty

Four star for the quality and a fifth star for the price. These are very inexpensive for "Gourmet" candy: $0.47/ounce, as opposed to $0.84 and $1.00. 1 order out of had some oil separation that was sufficient to affect the flavor, but it did not amount to more than a hint. This results from melting and hardening again. The chocolate is very smooth and flavorful. It is very high quality chocolate. Perhaps a bit too much chocolate, because I can't really tell how good the caramel is. I tried 2 brands of small-batch caramels, and the list of ingredients gave me a couple of hints that I took to make my home made caramels better than any of the store boughts. I was surprised that they all used dark corn syrup to get the caramel flavor, instead of caramelizing cane sugar.

These are SO delicious. Just the right size when you want a sweet snack, and large enough to avoid wolfing them down. And the tub lasts a long time. I'm only sad that I'm afraid to purchase once summer sets in since I'm in the SW and am afraid I'd get a melted glob. (It would still be delicious, though!)

Could not be more dissatisfied with Sanders dark chocolate sea salt caramels!!!! I bought two 2-packs for appx $60. They LOOK TERRIBLE , w/ BARELY ANY promoted sea salt. They LOOK BAD as if they were all smudged in a lose bag before placing in the shipping plastic tub that was carefully packed for weight & no movement. I planned to give as gifts, but they are so poorly made it would be embarrassing to give as a gift. They also are not exceptional in taste as I expected. The caramel is not buttery or creamy. The chocolate coating is scuffed!!! WHY CAN I NOT RETURN at least THE 3 securely sealed unopen tubs, & preferably the opened one so you can see for yourselves they are poorly produced, compared to pictures of the chocolate-covered sea salt, caramels I hoped for. PLEASE REPLY. They are dated as Best By August 03, 2024. Today is Feb 1, 2024 the day I opened the pkg after its arrival last night. I gave one piece to a friend expecting them to be good , in spite of the worse appearance of ANY professional candy. PLEASE allow me to return at least the 3 unopened containers, but hopefully also the opened one for a full refund. Sanders should not be allowed to get away with selling this kind of product presentation.

Yes yes taste so good. But not covered under prime and cost to much to ship to Alaska. But yes it was super yummy

Amazing for a store bought candy. We first tasted these when we purchased a small box of 4 pieces in the Cracker Barrel gift shop. It was EXPENSIVE. So, I found the exact product at Amazon in large containers. They are always fresh and delicious. BUT ... because they bump around within the container, the salt comes off a bit. Still great tasting. BUT, they don't look "pristine." Because of this, I have been reluctant to gift a small bag of these treats. They look a bit beat up (size remains perfect). I've given them to close friends and family ... and the recipient ALWAYS has a disappointed and/or confused look. As if, the carmels were old and have that white film on the chocolate. BONUS: We now just keep them all for ourselves...it is just cosmetics.

These are yummy, but the canister was either josalled during transport because the chocolate looks grayish instead of being just a dark chocolate. I had a small package at Xmas time that was perfect.

Two tubs of Sanders dark-chocolate, sea-salt caramels arrived very promptly sooner than promised and they were actually 36 ounce tubs instead of the 32 ounces advertised. So, with free Amazon shipping, it was a heck of a deal.

These caramels are delicious. I bought some for a friend who stayed with me recently following a surgery. She loved them. My grandson can never get enough! Why can't I find them at any store?
