I think I received the large bowl by mistake. This one is 7 inches, not 5. It would be excellent for a large dog, particularly on a camping trip or hotel stay. It's a little overkill for a walk around the block. The construction of the bowl is solid, though the snap ring is a little cheesy. There wasn't a heavy vinyl smell and Buddy was happy to drink out of it. It's also a great value. In the end, definitely recommended.

Wow, this is exactly what we needed! We have a large dog and we got the large size portable bowl which is perfect. It holds about 12 oz. of water - more than enough. It could also be used for food if you want. We're very happy with the product and will probably get another to leave in the vehicle.

Solid water bowel. It is very durable and the carabiner clip is sturdy. This works great and gives me the much needed room in my backpack as I can clip this on the outside of my pack. Very happy and so is my dog. I will definitely purchase a second one for dog food.

The bowl I origins ordered hold about 30 ounces. It is collapsable which Is great for tossing it in the backpack for our long walks. The small one which came with the 2 leashes I ordered holds about 8 ounces and is barely big enough for my 84 lb dog. Be sure to buy the correct size because it really is a good water bowl. My friend’s pug is getting a lot of use out of the little bowl.
