This is amazing. We got new kitties and had to have a litter box in our bathroom. We were using one with sides attached but litter was still getting all over the place. This prevents 90 percent of the litter getting out AND bonus my dogs who like to get into the litter cannot get into this. It also prevents the smell from wafting as much. It is also lightweight and easy to move around and samll enough to fit into tight spaces. My cats had no issues adapting to this box. Would buy in a heartbeat again if we need another one.

As a cat owner, finding the perfect litter box can be a challenge. I have tried many different styles and brands, but I have finally found the perfect solution with the RIS USA Large Simple Round Top Entry Cat Litter Box. First of all, the size of this litter box is perfect for my large cat. He has plenty of room to move around and do his business without feeling cramped. The top entry design also helps to contain odors and reduce the amount of litter that gets tracked outside of the box. The litter box is made from high-quality materials and is very easy to clean. The scoop that comes with it is also a nice bonus. It is sturdy and does a great job at removing waste from the litter. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase of the RIS USA Large Simple Round Top Entry Cat Litter Box. It is a great value for the price and has exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and performance. I highly recommend it to any cat owner.

basic and perfect .. no liter kick out and perfect size for Pepper!

Use this as our travel litterbox for the car, and for use in our vacation cabin. Easy for our Ragdoll to use in the car, as we put it on the floor behind the driver’s seat. Top has many perforations, that keep the litter in the box! We have an automatic litter box in our main home, which we love, but this box was accepted quickly by our cat, and is perfect for travel, in small spaces, and where an outlet is not present. We also find it easy to clean. Keeps most odor in the box, as 3/4 of the box is covered. Still requires frequent cleaning though. Would definitely recommend. We found that the scoop that comes with this box to be too small, so we use our older scoop, that is much bigger, to clean this box. This is the reason we took off one star.

I bought two different top-entry boxes when I returned from years abroad with my cats. This unit is better than the other in every way. Sturdier: This litter box is stronger and less flexible than the other one I bought. I currently use clay litter, and tip the box in the long direction to loosen any "wall-pee" before scooping. This box flexes less and feel stronger. No mess: The inward hinge motion allows you to clear all loose litter on the lid back into the box. Other units with edge hinges that pivot the lid on the box edge dump their litter on the floor. The only fix is to disassemble the inferior litter box lid hinge every time and shake the lid off in the box. Less sticky surface: Wet clumped litter doesn't stick to the inside of this litter box as readily as the other box I tried. It does still stick, but it releases more easily, often with a gentle shake of the box, or a tap on the outside wall. To be fair, the other box releases if I tap the wall firmly, but this one is easier. That covers it. This litter box is easier & faster to scoop & clean; makes less mess when cats leave loose litter on the lid (which is why we got this design -- to force them to walk a step or two in a place that returns loose litter to the box instead of our floor); and feels like it will last. Bonus: It came with one of those (admittedly only slightly better than mediocre) litter scoops you see as free add-ons. It's not great, but we just got back from out of the country, and it was nice to have one. (Though I prefer the Arm & Hammer scoop more)

I should have looked at the dimensions. It was too small for my 18 lb male cat. Fortunately, it was the right size for my daughter's 7 lb kitty. It works well in her small apartment bathroom. It helps to keep the kitty litter situation under control.

I have had cats nearly my whole life and always went with the large closed box with swinging door. I had a love hate relationship with those as eventually the door broke off which helped contain the smell or unfortunately I had cats that liked to pee backwards (even thought they were female) which left a ring of gross pee between the top and bottom seal. Cleaning was a bit of a hassle. So now after years of having only outdoor barn cats I ended up with an indoor kitten I decided to investigate litter box options. After reading the reviews on this and seeing a lot of positive feedback I decided to purchase. Now my kitten is small so the reviewers that mentioned large cats only using the litter area right under the hole then tracking poo out...I haven't got that problem (yet) and will update if I do. But my kitten is small and is able to get up onto the box and uses it well. Extremely low litter tracked out of box, it's easy to clean, and doesn't smell. I use Fresh Step which i finds clumps the best and has low odor. I decided on this one because it had holes for the litter to drop back down vs the other one by same company that just has wavy tracks on the lid but no holes. I use the deep litter method without any bags (this was a HUGE selling point for me as the bags are so ridiculously expensive and a pain in the butt). The litter just slides off the pan and hasn't stuck yet. So far I am impressed! btw I use the Litter Genie Plus with this pan and I absolutely LOVE this trash receptacle for the litter. I have had zero smells and it is super easy to use. I did a review on this also:) Highly recommend both for your litter system. I paid full price for both and was not compensated at all. This is my honest review:)

Good product if your cat kicks the litter too hard. Not good for senior or non agile cats.

Está increíble , y el tamaño es ideal para 2 gatitos , ahora no hay casi nada de arena afuera . Y además aunque la arena que uso aglutina muy bien , en otros areneros siempre se quedaban los orines pegados y en este no , el plástico es diferente a la mayoría , súper resistente ! Se limpia súper fácil y rápido , volvería a comprarlo!

Absolutely love this product. It is good quality and well constructed. I prefer the oval shape for cleaning, as with rectangular ones, "stuff" wants to get stuck in the corners. It has a shinier surface to it than some, (much better for cleaning), and the top is nice and sturdy. It was a totally new concept for my cats, but they have both adapted extremely well. Top entry is a marvellous thing, in the prevention of scattered litter, and missed pees. It is far superior than the box with a lid, as it always has the ridge around where the lid meets the box. This interior is smooth. I cannot recommend it enough. Even if your cat is a little chunky (Entry hole is approx 9-1/2" across - plenty big), or if your cat is old - put a small box or stool near for them to climb to the top. I have told all my friends and family how pleased I am.

This is a simple yet effective product. I've found that after placing my cats in there once they immediately took to it, even though they hadn't used a top-entry litter box before. It also helped with stopping our dog from accessing the litter. My cats loved this litter box but I wish there was an option for reusable liners so I've deducted one star. I've been using bin liners from the supermarket without too much difficulty. You could use it without liners of course, but for better odour control I would recommend using them.

Have cats that often urinate on the side, leaving messes trapped (if there is a cover) in the creases or outside the litter itself- this one is high enough and no such problem. I used it without the lid for the first 10 days until they used it exclusively and then added the lid. Odors are more contained and the lid which has grooves traps some of the litter stuck in their paws, so a win win for me! I now have 3 of these litters and they work really well and the area where they are is much cleaner than with other litter boxes

Muy buena opción para no tener arena en el piso… Ojalá tuviera un filtro o algo, para los olores, pero de ahí en fuera, es muy buena opción. Pensando en cambiar el segundo baño de mi gatita por otro de estos. 9/10
