MISSMAY Women's Formal Floral Lace 2/3 Sleeves Long Evening Party Maxi Dress

Pros: This dress is kinda cheap so I was concerned but.. It looked very elegant with my best jewelry and great shoes, fit me perfectly, was very flattering, and got me many compliments at the formal wedding of an immediate family member so... It was everything I wanted. Yay!!! Cons: Boy does it wrinkle easily. It arrived in a small package heavily wrinkled. Getting those wrinkles out put a little fear into me because I did not have a back up dress for this very special occasion. Thus, I brought it to the dry cleaners for pressing.. it took them a while and some extra effort to get the wrinkles out and they warned me to take care to prevent wrinkles in the future so as to preserve the cheaper fabric for as long as possible. One may think they were upselling me but I'm not so sure.. they didn't charge much and knew I was an out of towner so wouldn't be a return customer. Anyhow, I lay all this out because I'm a little afraid to wash it at home, even on gentle settings in a laundry bag. Was hoping to find reviews or questions mentioning the cleaning, but no luck. So I will update this review after my experience because.. I just don't wanna pay a dry cleaner when the manufacturer's instructions say that careful home washing will do. For reference, I am 5' 7", size 12 waist, 38C bra, and wore flats. The dress barely hovered over the floor so the length was perfect as well as the fit.😁 Bottom line.. this may not be a 'fancy' dress but if it fits you like it did me, you'll fool the onlookers into thinking it is. Really couldn't be happier. Now.. to wash the cocktail that was spilled all over me out of it.😬 Update: The dress came through the wash just fine in my ten year old budget washing machine.. which is not so gentle, but I washed on the gentle setting, in a laundry bag, and then hung it to dry. The bad news is, the cocktail stain didn't wash out. It's been hanging in my closet since but in finally remembering to do this update, I am now on the fence. Dare I use my stain concoction of Shout and Oxy on this dress, or perhaps another trip to the dry cleaners. Not sure, but if I go the diy route and it ends badly.. well, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this dress again due to the sheer elegance at such an affordable price point.

I was not expecting this dress to be so beautiful, the color is rich, it's a true size, fits just right. The quality is good, no issues. XL, 183 lb, 5’6.

I was so surprised how beautiful, simple and perfect this dress is. During these covid times, I decided to order a less expensive dress in case the small little wedding was cancelled. For $60 you cannot go wrong! I got so many compliments. Low down: I am 5'9 and 140 lbs. I purchased a size Small, which was perfect. I was still able to wear 2 inch heals. It was wrinkly upon arrival; as it was stuffed in a mailing envelope. You can use the steam function on your iron to gently flatten out the wrinkles. The fabric is sturdy enough and the lace sleeves were surprisingly comfortable - not itchy. It is tailored so nicely that I didn't have to mess with it. I did wear a thickly padded push-up bra to fill out the front - but that was a preference thing. A simple gold necklace, bracelet, earrings and face mask did the trick. I wore my hair up in a ponytail to accentuate the pretty neck line of the dress. I could not have gotten a better dress for this winter Christmas wedding.

The dress is actually stretchy, unlike a typical lace dress. I followed the guidelines and purchased it at exactly my size. I wear a 14 and I ordered an XL which fit perfectly. I have huge arms so 2/3 sleeves are always dicey for me. But these sleeves were comfortable and not tight. It is a beautiful dress. The ribbon is not on the breastbone it rests lower on the waist. I returned it and went with another dress because the look was far more conservative than I wanted, but that may differ depending on one's shape.

The dress is beautiful color well made. Sizing is extremely small. Size 6 person took a large and so did a size 8. According to your chart a medium should have fit. I was very worried as when my bridesmaid tried on medium and did not fit I could not order a large was out of stock. I waited 2 weeks and ordered right away so it would fit.

I love the fit and over all look of this dress, but had to order multiple times. The first dress came in with a black stain and the second dress came worn with pet hair all over it. This is really frustrating and I would typically not reorder but I did. I am hoping third time is a charm because the dress really does fit good and I do think with out the issues, the dress is made beautifully.

The dress was good quality. It did not feel cheap. The size was spot on. I always order my dresses based on my bust size. I’m a 44DD. I ordered the 2X & it fit perfectly. I did have to get hem fixed because I’m 5’1, but the dress fit perfectly around my arm’s & waist. The flow of the dress is nice. I added a rhinestone belt to dress it up & got so many compliments. I definitely recommend.

I love this dress! It's well-made and flattering! I just wish it came one size larger. I'm a size 16, sometimes 18, and the XXL is a bit snug on me. I've decided to skip dessert for the next 6 weeks and see if that creates a bit more breathing room before my event. I love dessert so that tells you how much I like this dress! Lol
