Currently my favorite brand of pedal
These are the best pedals I have ever owned. It seems to me. Finding decent flat pedals isn’t easy in this era. I have used well known brands that broke. Even though they were maintained. And I don’t go on jumps or have many pedal strikes. These, have had no issues, and are reasonably priced in this era.

Great product
This is my second pair or Spank Spike pedals… super durable and the grip is unparalleled. Pedals are a perfect fit for a size 11 wide foot. I ride these pedals with Five Ten shoes. Some reviewers complain that the pedals are too grippy. Yes, the pegs are aggressive and you have to pick up your foot completely off the pedal to readjust your stance if it doesn’t feel right. However, you will have confidence you’ll be able to maintain contact with the pedal through some gnarly terrain. Once you get used to them they will boost your confidence.

The left pedal sounds and feels like the bearings are not greased or they are broken. I’ve bought and used many pedals in my life and never had a new set do this.

Great pedals
Look great until they don’t. They will get hammered so don’t expect them to look good for long. Way over prices in my opinion.

Worst grip ever
I really wanted to like these but if you do any type of serious riding your feet will slip and slide all over these things like they're plastic, the pins are rounded off for some some reason, ordering some oneup aluminum for 30$ more, I know they actually grip, you get what you pay for I guess. I also understand now why you never see anyone ever riding spank pedals.

Endlich Alu Pedale die nicht nach 300 km rumzicken. Hab die Pedale auf einem meiner MTBs und nach 1000 km keinerlei knacken oder quietschen. Benutze ansonsten Comp Pedale weil ich egal mit welchem Hersteller immer das Problem hatte das nach ein paar Fahrten die Pedale anfingen zu knarzen.
