This is an excellent dance mat for all ages without needing an additional gaming console to connect to. As long as you have a TV, this is a standalone item. Firstly, it arrives looking much more stylish than any dance mat I have ever seen and the flannel adds a really classy touch. The colors are very neutral and it would go beautifully with any decor if you decide to keep it out. It also unfolds and lays perfectly flat right away. Besides the console, which is includes a built-in disco ball light, is very compact and connects to a TV via HDMI cable, it also includes two controllers for many other included games, two pairs of non-slip socks (even though I did not find the mat to be slippery with regular socks) and a micro USB adapter that plugs into a USB A port. The flannel is very soft and keeps bare feet from sticking to the dance mat. The mat stays in place on hardwood and rugs and provides enough room for two adults to play at the same time. With regard to ease of first use, it really is just plug in the console to the TV via HDMI as well as a power source via provided USB A cable, insert batteries into the mat and controllers (if needed) and turn everything on. It starts right up so you are in game within second of turning everything on. The mat is very responsive so you won't have an issue with it not registering your steps. There are so many songs and games preloaded already so there is no need to do anything else. However, I was able to easily remove the micro SD card and use the provided micro SD USB A adapter and a computer to download even more songs from the company website. I like that there is an MTV option (music videos/real people) as well as a cartoon option for the dance songs, which include so many more popular songs than ever expected. There are plenty of kids songs as well in case you have younger children playing and don't want to expose them to more mature music. There are a bunch of other games included such as active sports, running and yoga games and classic video games. I haven't explored them all yet but this is such a great item that allows you to dance, exercise or play traditional video games with a controller. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. We are very pleased as both kids and adults with this all-in-one console.

If you have kids at home, they will love this dance mat. Its easy to use, loads of fun and has a lot of features. Hooking it up was easy, and we were exploring the many different options within minutes. The dance feature is great and I was relieved that the kids were enjoying it because frankly any activity that gets their heart rate up is better than sitting around playing with their phones! We all enjoyed the playful nature of the lights during the dance party that ensued! The dancing went on for quite a while before they discovered that there were also games built in. The games are engaging and fun, and keep the kids coming back to play with the mat more. The mat also offers a running mode. I was a bit skeptical at first because I didnt know how running in place would work. Turns out that it works quite well. We really enjoy the gamification of it as well, it makes getting exercise more enjoyable while you collect coins, and try to stay away from random monsters! Hopefully the kids will continue to use this mode as it really does get the heart rate up! The mat also has a Yoga mode, but we have yet to explore this. Nobody in the family is really into Yoga, but perhaps this will change that.

If you have a TV, this will be sure to provide some great exercise and entertainment for the family! Whether it's the music, dancing or built-in games, there's a ton to do with this set-up. It comes with everything you need; mat, controllers and anti-slip socks, which allow for easy storage as well! I recently purchased this TikTok Dance Mat, and it’s a lot of fun even for adults! It’s a great way to get everyone moving, and I’ve found myself joining in during family gatherings. The mat makes game nights so much more lively and engaging, and I can see why it’s such a hit with families. What I love most is how versatile it is—people of all ages can join in and have a blast. It’s also the perfect gift, as it keeps everyone entertained for hours. However, after a good amount of dancing, the mat does tend to slide around, but it's not a dealbreaker. Just make sure it’s on a non-slip surface, and that solves the problem. Overall, I’d highly recommend the TikTok Dance Mat to anyone looking for a fun way to stay active and enjoy some quality time together. It’s a fantastic way to mix fun and fitness, and I can see it being a popular choice for many!

Didn't expect to like this dance mat that much, I got it mainly for the kids, but I'm the one who's always been using it. Very entertaining, defiantly didn't expect that, I thought I will be over it after an hour or so but I've been using it everyday, not just for the entertaining aspect but also this dance mat is a great work out, I didn't know I was so out of shape, I've been building my cardio by dancing on it every morning, it's insane I sweat like crazy, defiantly will buy a couple more mats, for the whole house. So me my kids and my wife can all use it together. It's great for family members, and you don't need an expensive games or consoles to use it, it comes with the device ready just plug the HDMI and the power cable and you're good to go. It connect wirelessly no cables to trip over, just turn on the HDMI gaming station and turn on your mat and you're done. I've been using it daily and it barely consumed any batteries, It takes dual AAA batteries and it seems like it will go forever. There is tons of games and music to choose from this is defiantly a great and healthy entertaining device, if you feel lazy just use the supplied controllers and play from the couch. The quality and the material everything is screaming quality for such an inexpensive set. I love that at night you can enable the disco light mode and it's really bright the whole ceiling lights up. If you don't feel like investing in something like a Nintendo Switch to play some quick games, especially those with a dance mat or camera, this is a safe bet. Everything feels of sufficient quality but the mat itself is very sturdy and I think can take quite the beating. The included socks and mini disco ball are also great additions. The remotes connect instantly and maintain a good signal. One thing to note is that in the menus and most games, it will need to be held horizontally. The camera quality isn't the best but the detection in the games works well. It displays at 720p and the graphics aren't the best here but if you don't mind, most children won't notice it. Dancing, yoga, running, camera, and remote games are all here. Unfortunately, the option of the classic game is nowhere to be found. Maybe it's because I got the black-colored one? Or the classic games are no longer available? Either way, this is a decent package with everything you and a friend could need to play some games that get you up and moving.

Works great for what it is. It appears to be cheap plastic and electronics, not all the games work well. But for dance dance revolution knock-offs it does well and the mat itself seems decently made. There is an opportunity to add your own songs with a usb stick, haven’t tried it yet but that in itself is worth the excitement!
