Soft and chewable for our 6 month old but did not stand bet easy without adult.

Exactly what we wanted for our 7 month old granddaughter!We are very happy with it.

Mobility

This item is beautifully crafted. It is asthetically pleasing to see out, and yet still works well as a toy. All the items at least sort of stand on their own (the animals stand up better than the people, but they people do stand on their own. The people have cloth stands on the back of them). They are pretty detailed and seem high quality. The angel can be attached to the manger via velcro and the baby is removable from the cradle. They are soft and a perfect fit for little hands. My son loved to play with the animals! All the items fit into the stable when you want to pack them up,and the opening can be closed up by velcro keeping all items safely inside.This nativity set was part of our advent activities for our two year old and worked well to begin to bring in the understanding of the Christmas Story in a friendly, age appropriate and not overly didactic way. However, I think kids and adults of any age would like this set. It is very pretty, and well made.
