Great LED collars for dogs. One charge lasts all day!
These ate awesome collars for our two dogs. We moved onto 3 wooded acres and it's good yo ve a le to track where our dogs are. We charged the collars and they last the day! The fit is perfect. They are bright and are not heavy at all! They are easy to snap on and remove! We will be purchasing more as Christmas gifts for family and friends with dogs

Very bright well made collar!
We got this collar in blue. I charged it up and it worked exactly as the instructions noted. It's bright! It seemed to get brighter after using it a couple times. It was -21 deg F the first time I put it on her. We were out for about 20 minutes. Then in the evening we tried it again and it quit after about 20 minutes. I can't fault it for this. I ordered this based on the length of Samantha's nylon flat collar. I think this is incorrect. Doing it again I'd use the distance between the center of the buckle and the hole used. As it turned out our collar is a good three to four inches too long. We use multiple collars so for now I just use it over the nylon collar and training collar. It rides on Sam's outer fur so it really lights up the walking path!. I sent an email and pictures to customer support and got a very quick reply. We are not done yet but I'm confident a solution will come. This collar is much brighter than others in our area. It's well made and the LED wires are protected. The battery box is too big but well protected and easy to access. We just used it for several hours in +20-30 degF weather and it was still going strong so in warmer weather it will go for many hours. It's easy and charges in half an hour even from dead. Over all a great product. Just be careful about size. I found it hard to adjust. Customer support said it was ok to slide the LED section thru the buckle but I work with LED things and wires are fragil. I'm not comfortable with this. I'd recommend this collar to anyone.

bright and long lasting
This is the second one of these I've bought. The 1st one (blue) I bought in 2011 and it lasted until mid-2021 before the lights completely died out. This second one (red) I got for my German Shepherd puppy, and I was worried that it would look more pink but it is a very bright deep red. I expect this one will last just as long as the first unless he grows a lot bigger than expected and needs to size up. These are my absolute favourite collars and the only ones I will ever buy for my dogs as long as they keep producing them with the same or better quality. EDIT 8/24: 8 months to the day and it no longer charges, the wire coating is ripped and it seems like the actual wire inside has been damaged. May just be the result of my dog scratching his neck before his nails (which are very sharp) had been filed down. Buying a replacement and will check this broken one to see if the break was caused by a fault on my end or if it was a problem with the wiring of the collar itself. Will update the review again at that time; hopefully it will turn out to be a fault on my end, and I won't have to give a lower rating.

Great visibility during winter months.
This collar is a great lifesaver. But it has a tendency to turn itself off when my dog shakes his head. The leash that can be bought with it is very stiff but seems to hold up well.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS PRODUCT !!
BOTTOM LINE: If your smoke detector only worked half the time you'd dump it or demand your money back - this is the same idea. Bought half a dozen. The cheerful customer service people will replace them every time, but NONE of them work for more than a few days or weeks before they start to turn off at random. When your dog escapes and walks across a busy street, that's when the collar will fail without warning and go dark. It's taken me over two years to get to the point where I was pushed far enough to write this review. I never write reviews unless I have something really important to say because I am always so grateful to others who take the time to do that. The review is for: Illumiseen LED Dog Collar - USB Rechargeable - Available in 6 Colors & 6 Sizes ASIN B00UAINMMK INTERMITTENT FAILURE DUE TO A FAULTY SWITCH. I now have 4 of these collars in two sizes and three colors, and NONE of them works properly. i don't like to complain so at first I just kept buying new ones as my dog grew up, thinking that I'd just gotten a bad one or that it wore out faster than expected. But these are supposed to keep your dog SAFE (!) at night and these collars make my service dog less safe at night, so I had to throw them all away. When function is intermittent it is far more dangerous than if they always work, or if they never work! But the switch was faulty on every single one of them and malfunctioned within 0 to 6 months on ALL of them. There was absolutely no way to predict when it would fail, and once it failed it would continue to fail intermittently: stayed lit for a little while and then shut itself off. YOU COULD LOSE YOUR DOG OR S/HE COULD GET HIT BY A CAR BECAUSE LED'S SHUT OFF BY THEMSELVES. I would take my dog out at night and never know when the light would go off and I would suddenly be unable to see my dog. Thank heavens he is magnificently trained and I exercise him in a large enclosed horse paddock far from any roads. But a dog that wandered off could easily be hit by a car because the lighted collar can become a useless dark piece of fabric at any moment. THE COMPANY IS VERY NICE BUT WHEN THEY SUGGEST THAT YOU DID SOMETHING TO CAUSE IT, DON'T LISTEN. I called the company several times and they are always very nice and polite and send out a replacement if you ask. They are so nice you feel terrible about complaining. But there is always the suggestion that you must have gotten the product wet (I didn't. But give me a break: it's a dog collar; It is useless if it will break in the rain!) or that I hadn't charged it properly (I am a biomedical engineer so I'm pretty well qualified to charge a dog collar) or that I'd done something else to cause failure of the led switch on the product. GREAT DESIGN BUT THE SWITCH IS WORSE THAN GARBAGE. So this is a great design and the people at the company are always very nice but it is unconscionable that they won't dump the bad switches and get some top quality, reliable switches to make this a "safety" device as advertised, instead of a danger to your dog. I need a collar or light that will function reliably if, heaven forbid, there is a hole in the paddock fence someday and my dog gets lost and wanders the half mile to the road. This device will work on mondays and wednesdays and fail on tuesdays and thursdays. For a safety device, intermittent failure like that makes it extremely dangerous. Sometimes it won't turn on at all after you take it off the charger, sometimes it works for 20 to 60 minutes and suddenly goes dark. Sometimes a new one will work great for a week or a month and then start this intermittent failing. But it ALWAYS BEGINS INTERMITTENT FAILURE WITHIN A FEW MONTHS OF PURCHASE. Do your dog (and you) a favor and THROW THEM OUT before the day when your dog gets lost and you really need it to work to save the dog's life. If your smoke detector only worked half the time you'd dump it or demand your money back - this is the same idea.

Ghostly Visions dancing in the woods!
I got this collar for my outside ridgeback curr who likes to wander in the woods and bark at randomness (mostly, sometimes randomness is a raccoon, or armadillo, or escaped cow). We live on 10 acres in the country and its heavily wooded. I thought it would be fun to see where he goes and easier to find him when he alerts to creepie crawlies in the night. We have had it about two weeks and so far it has been a fun collar. Just as a regular collar it is very nice. Very bright and visible with a reflective strip. But at night when you turn it on it is very bright. I have not used it for long periods of time. I turn it on when i'm outside interacting with him in the woods, we go check on animal at night and it makes it easier to see where he is wandering so he doesnt scare me to death. Its very eerie seeing just a floating collar wandering the woods at night though. LOL It charges quickly and puts off a very nice glow. It also strobes, which would be great for walking the road at night, especially in the country. Its easy to put on, he seems to be comfortable in it, it is wide and visible. A little stiff but that is to be expected. Overall, it is a great collar. When I have had it longer and have used it over longer periods I will update the review, but for now, I am satisfied with this product.

This dog collar is fantastic. It is bright, and the LED lasts for hours.
The light is very visible, the quality around the LED and cloth construction is solid. The wire connecting the USB port to the collar is tucked into the collar to keep it safe; I would have liked for it to be better secured, but it isn't loose at all when properly pushed in. My concern is more possible damage from a person when pulling it out to plug the cord in for charging. The plastic clip seems of reasonable quality, however I would not use it as a primary collar with a strong, large breed dog. It is light wight, and works well in conjunction with my dogs regular collar. The size Large on my dog is very loose on my dogs 19 inch neck, but it stays on well enough. As I said, I personally wouldn't use this as a primary collar anyway. The extra room served as a benefit, as he wears it over his normal collar. The On/Off button is well covered under cloth on the collar. It's easy to find with your thumb, and pressing it cycles from solid, quick flash, and slow flash, and off. I timed the solid light at about 4.5 hours, and slow flash at over 8 hours of continuous operation. Note: The USB port is not the type that goes into your smart phone. It comes with a cord however, and plugs into any USB port. It takes about 40 minutes to completely charge, and the collar dimly lights up when charging and turns off when full you'll know when it is done. While it isn't perfect, it is a vastly better option than most other products for illuminating your pup, especially around $20 considering it is re-chargeable. I highly recommend this product.

Design flaw limits life
This is the third one we’ve purchased over the last few years, because they were nice and bright and lasted a long time on a charge but we won’t get another. While the first two all lasted more than a year, the most recent one only worked for 6 weeks. They have all failed eventually after repeated shorts in the winter after the metal ring touches the metal tip of the charging port (collar immediately turns off when they come in contact with each other). It’s just a fatal flaw of the design. There should be no way for them to ever come in contact. Eventually the control will fail and will either be impossible to turn off (once turned on after charging it won’t turn off ) or in the most recent purchase, the collar will charge, but won’t turn on at all with the controls. There are other light collars that don’t have this design flaw.
