This recreation of a "Dirty Dozen: type watch is based on the original 1940s/1950s watches but has the advantage that it is equipped with a high-performance hybrid movement. MWC hybrid watches essentially combine the best of both new and traditional watchmaking technology. They encompass features from both conventional automatic and quartz models resulting in a hybrid ultra-low maintenance movement. The hybrid movement has a battery powering the movement through coils and a quartz oscillator, but the hands are mechanically actuated and controlled. Essentially the movement is mechanical except it's powered by a battery and regulated by a crystal the only thing it doesn't have is a spring. This watch offers the ideal choice for buyers who would prefer the sweep secondhand as seen in automatic watches with the hassle-free maintenance benefits of a quartz watch. This watch has a heavy stainless steel satin finish case made from Military Grade 316L stainless steel, subsidiary dial, hacking function, black dial and luminous markings. The watch also has a historically accurate canvas strap as used in the 1940s and 50s.

This watch is child size
Not sure I realised just how small this watch was when I purchased, but it looks like a kids watch when worn, it is tiny in proportions.

What on earth is thing thing advertising?
What exact movement is being used in this watch? What exactly does this page mean by Quartz/Mechanical hybrid movement? Unless you mean to tell me this bad boy is rocking a spring drive, this is utter BS. It is either quartz (battery powered), or mechanical(hand wound) or automatic(pendulum wound). What exactly is going on here? Clarification needed because this is deliberately misleading.

good quailty
it's a very accurate take on the D12 or Dirty Dozen watches produced at the end of WW2.The dial is correct. The size is almost correct - the original watches were slightly smaller. It's well made and has a feel of quality about it. I've had mine for nearly 2 years and worn it quite a bit. the domed acrylic crystal has a few marks now but nothing bad. The watch is a very accurate. hardly losing a few seconds a month. The retro luminove lume is strong and lasts all night.. just about. If you like the D12 watches then this is a good one to consider. The strap is a fabric semi nato and wears well .It's comfortable and can be removed and washed to clean it..I recommend this watch but shop around and you may find it cheaper !
