Fluke Networks LIQ-KIT Cable and Network tester

If you need to test through put on a cable, not just what a switch is advsrtising, this is the test set for you. Has all needed features, remotes work great and will save you a ton of effort. A note about TDR for those who don't understand it: TDR sends a voltage pulse down the wire, and waits for a reflection (rcalled 'ringing' in electronics). It then calculates time of flight, divides by 2, and provides a measurement. TDR works ONLY on disconnected cables (both ends free). You cannot reliably TDR into/through a switch port because you don't know what circuitry it has, of how it will handle it. This meter is a joy and worth every penny!

Very good piece of equipment. Although I returned it due to being able to get the MS200 in an upgrade kit for a small uncharted. I was able to compare the two devices with each other and they are both Identical. Just one kit came with the MS200 and one did not. I kept the kit with the MS200.

Irreplaceable for network professionals. Everythink else is a compromise.

No better product than fluke in my opinion, price is high but you get what you pay for. Saved me hours of troubleshooting in my projects
