The Most Dangerous Game Paperback – 3 Sept. 2020

I'd never heard of this book before today, but it is flipping brilliant. I found the 2 main characters utterly vile but they were so brilliantly written it somehow added to the story for me. That's all - I have no more words!!!!

Superb tension in this all-too-short thriller. Yet it does take some skill to distill such terror in a mere 30 pages.

A well written, gripping short story. Well worth reading.

I knew the plot before reaching the end. Sure there was a film or something. Story was very familiar and predictable.

Excellent short story, not a novella.

This tale is from the golden age and is a page-turner. Castaway on a remote island and the danger builds. Things are not as they seem. Plenty of scope for derring-do. This was an early film in black and white and was, even then, quite menacing. I recommend the story.

Read the book and then watch the original black & white film. Both excellent, yet different. The world is divided into two types - the hunters and the hunted. Choose which one you wish to be!

I’d not heard of the book but had heard the expression before. This is a good example of a short story which didn’t really need to be any longer. It was worth reading.
