It’s brilliant - the night mode is amazing the floodlights are bright the motion sensor impeccable and you can switch settings to just detect people rather than just any movement it’s really great and no subscription fee!

Everything about the camera is great but unless your router is sat on top of it, it loses connection or can’t join at all and I have very good Wi-Fi coverage.Night vision and image quality is great better than the ring rival

Excellent purchase for the price, having decided that I didn't want to pay the additional cost for a 4K camera. Have now added the doorbell and two further cameras. Very pleased.

I've several of the Eufy devices now and added the floodlight cam to the list, I've been impressed with the Eufy doorbell, so naturally thought I'd give the floodlight cam a go, I was looking at the newer model but at £299 seemed a bit ott, this 2k version came up on offer at £100 so snapped it up, very easy to replace my current PIR floodlight, slight glitch adding to the system at the Bluetooth setup but that's I think due to scanning the barcode on the box as it was already on the wall, however after several failed attempts realised barcode was on the base of the camera and completed without issues... Others have mentioned poor WiFi, however I've a decent Asus router that connected no issues, and no drop outs so far... Motion sensing is great with human detection which is the feature I loved on the door bell (my blink ones fore off at everything from rain to wildlife).. which means no false alarms.. very sensitive and able to detect people walking at the other side of the street, this is easily fine tuned in the settings and adjusting camera position... Camera appears prompt on the Alexa devices, and so far impressed 👍🏻.. Only feature would be nice would be 24/7 recording since its mains powered, hopefully a future upgrade for the Eufy range 😊

I was a little apprehensive about buying this after reading some of the reviews that mentioned problems connecting to Wi-Fi, but I have to say that I have had no such problems. I have a Google Wi-Fi mesh network and the camera connected to it without problem. Once the camera was installed (I had existing power from an old PIR light) I just downloaded the app and followed the instructions. I had it up and working within 10 minutes. I then upgraded the firmware without any problem (this took another 10 minutes). It replaced a Ring floodlight cam and I find it to be far superior to it in nearly every way. You can customise the way both the camera AND the light operates and, so far, have had no problems. The AI does a good job of distinguishing between human and non-human triggers and I only get alerts from the latter. The light does trigger when my cat goes out, but this should be overcome when I set up the trigger zones.All in all I am, so far, very impressed and would heartily recommend it.
