A good buy
We bought two. Stylish and work well with both the wall light switch and the remote control for both light and fan.

Love the fan but sellers weren't helpful or responsive
Initially the original fan was not the right one for our ceiling height, so we returned it. Called the seller for support with the issue of height but after 4 calls and one week of waiting for the seller to return our calls, we gave up and sent first fan back. Ordered the low profile fan and had our electrician review it before we purchased it to make certain it was correct for our room. The second fan arrived promptly and our electrician just installed a few hours ago. We love the fan, the ease of install for our electrician, the color of fan and how QUIET the fan is on all of it's speeds. It is perfect for our bedroom. The dimmable light is very bright to very low.....perfect for a bedroom. Our electrician told us he loves this brand and that he has little to none complaints about it from his customers. We hope it last long (our prior Hunter fan lasted 24 years!. That said, we have 5 ceiling fans in our home and plan to replace each one with these fans. We love it! Highly recommend. Just expect seller to be useless, as neither their sales nor customer service departments bothered to return my 4 calls.

Coolest fan ever made!
OMG, we bought two of these, and we couldn't love them more! So unique and modern! They're a little tricky to put up, as you have to get things just right, but once you figure it out, you won't be disappointed. The issue is getting the transmitter box into the hanger bracket, getting the connections made (house power to transmitter, then transmitter to fan motor), and then getting it all tucked up into the canopy. Let me just say the second one went up a whole lot easier than the first. But they're gorgeous, worth the learning curve, and the money spent, which was very reasonable. These are not wood. Let's be clear. They are metal painted to look like distressed Koa. But who cares?!?!? They're beautiful, and nobody would ever know. The simple light is perfect, but it's bright!! This size is perfect for our smaller sized office, and also the breezeway. These are not just fans. They're works of art.

Make your fan SILENT with these tips
This fan can be silent, but only if you do three things:(1) tape down the cotter pin— it rattles.(2) Don’t install the LED light. It acts as a sounding board for the motor hum.(3) check the ceiling mount and make sure it’s not flexing the plastic remote receiver box when the fan moves around. The box can creak. Also, I have a 9’ ceiling and wish the fan had a slower speed option to gently circulate air without creating a wind. Your only options currently are Medium, Fast, and Ludicrous.

makes clicking noise after 24 hours of installation
This is our 2nd Minka Aire fan. They look nice and easy to install but the clicking noise that happens is annoying for the price of the fan. Both of our Minka Aires have started doing the same thing. The hum is quiet, remote easy to use. Had to google how to correct the clicking sound. Would not buy again. The first one didn't start clicking right after a year rigth as we bought this second fan. A hum I can handle, clicking like someone is holding a card in bicycle spokes as someone rides it, not work the price of tfhe fan.

Easy Install
Another review said this was not easy to install....I disagree. The instructions seem all little vague in part, but if you study the instructions, and take your time, the installation is really pretty simple. The obvious difference is the way the blades attach to the fan motor. There are no traditional blades, and blade brackets. The base of the blade is curved/bowl shape, and the three blades form the round cover for the motor, and the screws attach at the top of the blade base. The wiring is super-easy. The most challenging issue I had was stuffing the wires up under the bell cover at the ceiling, but that was due to the smaller ceiling box that i had to deal with. The fan works great. Press and hold the light button on the remote to turn on the light, which will cycle the light from dim to bright and back down. Or, simply click the button to turn on/off the light from where it was last set. We love the modernistic wood look and the distressed koa finish looks great. We installed one in the kitchen, and we plan to buy more for the bedrooms.
