Good little gadget
This little, foot did a grand job of helping me machine bind my quilts. It’s not quite accurate enough for stitch in the ditch though. Always just a bit ‘out’. However, was inexpensive and arrived quickly and did at least one job.

Elevates any sewing project
I couldn’t live without this foot now. I use it often especially when I need to stitch a seam parallel to another. My sewing machine isn’t the best and this often helps to compensate for that.

Not fit for purpose
Fits ok, but the guide is so flimsy it doesn't work, it bends, and the bottom edge is so sharp it cuts through the fabric and ruins it.

Cheaply made (but fits my ancient Toyota)
The foot fits my ancient Toyota sewing machine and does the job it's intended for, which is to guide the needle to stitch very close to the edge of folded fabric. It has a metal plough at the front that is supposed to run along the ditch and keep the fabric true. However, this bit of metal is very flimsy indeed, and moves around. I found it would dig into my fabric instead of running along the top of it, and when that happened it would push backwards into the needle and bunch up the fabric. I had to frequently stop sewing, lift the foot and smooth my fabric again. I suspect that a more expensive foot would have a sturdier plough that would skim the fabric and I wouldn't have to stop so often.

I see this as a two in one foot. It works for zippers and rolled stitches if you know how to line it up correctly. I have tendonitis and osteoarthritis so any little tool like this to make my sewing easier is worth it!

Hoping this helps make my sewing easier and any little trick will do

Don’t waste your money on this presser foot. It is very flimsy and the stitching ends up being 1/8”to the right of the seam. It also gets stuck when sewing where seams intersect. I sew quilts so there are lots of intersecting seams. Pay a bit more and get the brand name presser foot for your sewing machine. Lesson learned!
