We asked our Zoom Mfg Rep and he replied: "Used as an audio interface, the L-8 can record full episodes directly to your computer and an SD card simultaneously. You can also live stream while recording."

Q: Can you listen to the playback of one track while recording on another?

Yes! You can do this with the Overdub function of the L-8 enabled.
