Buy And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and Longer Unabridged by Backman, Fredrik, Morse, David (ISBN: 9781508230717) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Best read all in one go, and then again - This book is very different from anything else I have read by Frederik Backman. It’s a very short book and describes the relationships between three (or four) generations of a family through the dreamlike landscape of an old man’s deteriorating mind. It’s slightly reminiscent of parts of A Man Called Ove. I recommend reading it all in one go as otherwise it gets a bit confusing (reflecting the old man’s state of mind). As soon as I had finished it, I read the whole thing again and picked up on many more details. Beautifully written, tender and full of love. Review: Exquisite pain and love - A most moving play of interaction between Grandpa struggling in the web of dementia, but cushioned by the love of his son and grandson.

A Stunningly Beautiful Little Read..
A beautifully told story with its own kind of magic in the telling. With a young boy Noah , his father Ted and his Grandfather,..whose mind is gradually shrinking yet at times his memories ...precious and fleeting come back in little dribs and drabs ...A story that will make you smile and cry and feel ...Because sometimes the path to nowhere can sometimes lead to beautiful destinations ...A Stunningly Beautiful little read ...

Such an incredible novella!
This less-than-100-page book had absolutely no business making me cry the entire way through! 😭 This novella is so devastating yet so beautiful, it is so incredibly well done whilst being sensitive to the topic. I really enjoyed the short time I had with these characters, they were well developed and I felt so connected with them all individually and together as a family. I am looking forward to reading more from Frederik Backman in the near future and would highly recommend this novella, but read content warnings first please. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5

Such an emotional wonderful story
I downloaded this book weeks ago but was afraid to read it because I thought it would be sad. It is sad but also wonderful. Thank you Mr Backman for sharing.

Lesser Backman but still to be read
Heartbreakingly sad, a lesser work in Fredriks canon but still very readable. Deals with slow dementia, be warned.

Beautiful. Emotional. Tear jerker for me.
WOW! This has gone straight into my top 20 of the year and I am amazed because it's only 75 pages long, but it is a hard-hitting, emotional and for me a tear jerker of a read. Such beautifully written. Eye opening and a story that many readers themselves may have experienced or will do in the future. Perfection. I did tear up. A short read which won't take long to get through so perfect for those readers with busy lives or in a book slump. Has some beautiful illustrations throughout to accompany the story. Its a must read from me. Highly recommend. A well deserved five stars. Pop it onto your pile you won't regret it.
