Yes, it does. My daughter used it for marching season in the summer and it held up very well.

Can you put multiple pages on it

Yes, it comes with 5 pages but you can open the black rings and add more.

Is the flip folder removable? to allow for using the schools premade sets?

Yes. My daughter used hers during marching season. One of the plastic rings broke. We replaced the plastic rings with metal binder rings. We purchased a pack of multiple sizes of binder rings at Walmart for less than $3.00. The metal rings worked better.
