Post is too long
Very simple to use. I used an ice cube for a few seconds to numb nose prior to use. Post was too long and, therefore, the piercing had to sit at an angle so it wouldn't poke inside of nose. Only a pain level of 3 on a level of 1-10. Definitely have a friend help. I moved my hand when doing it and ended up moving my hand and piercing too far back. I had to remove the post because it didn't look right. I WILL be ordering another gun to redo. Don't hesitate when doing it. Press strong and fast.

Easy, not painful, although not strong enough to go through
I had to pierce my nose two times, first time with this it went half way through although I applied a lot of force, luckily I had an extra earring piercing gun so I removed the earring from the gun and put the nose piercing in it.If your planning on piercing your nose with this then apply ice on your nose for about 10 minutes!!! This definitely helped me, I didn’t feel any pain when it went through.Goodluck everyone! (although I ended up taking the nose piercing out since I didn’t really like how it looked on me)

Quick, easy, and cheap!! Just do it!!!
If you're sure about getting your nose pierced, I recommend this kit! Once you decide where to place it... just clean the area well, line up the jewelry tip with the mark, then squeeze down quickly and firm. You blink and it's done! Now let's be honest.. I did feel it... but it was more like a pinch. The quicker the better! If you hesitate and press down slowly, it hurts more and you risk not going all the way through your nose. I chose the purple and I love it!!! Aftercare I use warm water with sea salt twice a day. So far so good!

So bummed/updated
I bought this and was excited to use it. I pierced my nose just fine, but the post stayed straight. When the piercing took place, it didn’t automatically bend after it went through my nose. You can’t go through any length of time with a post like that sticking inside your nose. So I took it out in the hopes of getting a bended nose ring in and I couldn’t. so I guess I have to buy another one and try again? I don’t know. All I’m saying is that when the piercing takes place the post should bend into place.***Update: I didn’t know what I was talking about! I ended up cleaning up the blood and covering it with Ambesol and trying again. Of course I had to force it to the second time with my fingers, but I got it back in. It’s been a couple of weeks and having the long post in my nose is not as uncomfortable and awkward as I thought it would be. I clean it twice a day with saline solution and it’s healing nicely. I really thought that sleeping on it would be difficult because I sleep on my right side, but not at all. It’s healing nicely and it hasn’t bled in days when I’ve cleaned it. I really love it! I’m glad that I stayed with it and put it through again. I highly recommend this piercer. But I do REALLY recommend putting Ambesol inside and out and leaving it for 2-3 minutes. Then cleaned it really good with alcohol before using the piercer. I have had a nose piercing with, and without Anbesol and TRUST ME when I say you want the Ambesol! It hurts so much less.

Good
**Heres a tip!!**After you pierce yourself. Take the stub out. Grind the point down with a nail grinder or power tool with a rough grit. Then use a polishing grit after to make it smooth. Shape the point into a ball to prevent the spike stabbing the opposite side of your nose causing multiple and horrendous nose bleeds!! This will also take off some of the length so the stud can sit more flush with your nose but still have the room for swelling if it happens. Be sure to rinse the stud in sterile saline (Neil Med) to make sure any fine metal particles are cleaned off before re-inserting. I found this tip necessary to post bc the quality of the stud is great and didnt want to waste the stud if I didnt have tooQuality of the jewelry is excellent. I have VERY sensitive skin and this stud never caused me any issues or turned my skin green. Metal never flaked and I still have the gem ❤️This stud is VERY, VERY sharp! It is longer to provide room for swelling but since my nose never swelled, its too long for my nose. If im not careful and accidentally bump my face, the inner spike stabs the other side of my nose on the inside (i use to do this when my nose was pierced on the other side. Doesn't really hurt, but you will bleed like a sob lol)I gave this 4 stars bc im not sure what happened. The device is great but idk if its bc I chickened out half way through and I messed up the process, or the spring wasnt strong enough to jam it all the way through my noseI ended up having to push the stud through my nose the rest of the way which was very difficult bc i didnt have enough strength in my hands to get it through. I did succeed after awhileFinal thoughts..... If you want to save money, definitely buy this. If you have sensitive skin, definitely buy thisThere was NO blood at all! When I got the other side pierced "professionally" I was bleeding like a water hose amd my nose became VERY infected. Swelled so bad that it made my nose stud disappear. It was bad. This device was a much better experience. Even though I had to push it the rest of the way through
