These stakes are the perfect length at 16” for making sure that your tent, tarp, or other will stay in place. I have used these in 40+ mph winds and my tent never moved. I use them for winter camping and summer camping with a 4 x 4 meter tarp and a Snowtrekker 8 x 11 foot tent. They are a bit heavy, so not ideal for backpacking. But if your car camping, winter camping, canoe camping, or other, they won’t let you down.
