These have worked perfect for our water fountain for 3 animals! They last just as long as the original and work just as well if not better. The water stays clean and they are easy to replace.

The brand name ones are stupid expensive. I highly recommend these. They work just as well, don't drop a bunch of carbon, and come with a bunch of the foam pre-filters.

My pet fountain requires that the charcoal filter be replaced once or twice a month, and that the mesh filters be replaced every month or two. So I have enough to last 6 months to a year with 6 mesh an 12 charcoal filters
