No extra noise, works as intended, very good price, plastic sliders may not stand up to abuse.

I bought both this and a TS mini this past week. Almost $100 difference between the two in price and yet I would say this is on par with the quality of the TS mini. The packaging was much better than the TS mini. It comes with the velcro the rubber pads and was boxed with foam and a branded sticker (always a nice touch). Metal construction is nice again quality on par with $100-$250 pedals. The pedal looks pretty cool for my board nicely. My favourite part of this pedal is that it has a level knob with a green LED built in. Very cool makes it easy to see in all lighting conditions and looks great. I use this pedal to shape my tone then feeding into my drive pedals as a boost in some situations. So far so good and I was shocked at how much body and character it added to my sound. It feels like it unlocks a nice full tone on my tube amp that I cannot typically crank it almost has to just always stay on and i’ll have to get a true boost pedal for solos.

El pedal llega en aparente buen estado, es metlaico, crei que era plastico, punto su favor, esas pesado de lo que parece por lo mismo. Llega con goma antideslizante o velcro para que le adieras como stiker cada uno. Problema, las ultimas dos bandas tienen falso contacto, de casualidad son las dos bandas que me interesaban, hay que presionar hasta abajo/atras del fader para que aplique el sonido, de lo contrario es como si no hubieras deslizado ningun fader, las demas bnadas funcionan bien y sin problemas. Mande mensaje al vendedor pero no hubo respuesta, no creo que sea problema de la marca o vendedor, lo mas probable es que me toco la mala suerte a mi, pero para que quede registrado el caso. Terminé por comprar otro eq de otra marca para evitar el riesgo de que fuera en verdad un problema de lote o modelo.

This is not a stricly clean boost, you have both a level for the volume and a gain that acts as overdrive. I like that the dirt knob has a lot of range up to good overdrive. Having a tone eq on also allow for either taming ear piercing fuzz or pushing muddy distortion when chaining them with other pedals. I had no issue with construction quality, its as sturdy as other pedals even better than my trex one. It's my goto for my small 15 amp tube combo tube pusher. Prefer it to tube screamer (less white-noise like in high treble region).

Doesn't come with power cord, had to buy one separately. Kind of a d**k move. Deducting 2 stars for that. Otherwise satisfied with it

Disengaged, the tone is completely different. It even looks simplistic and narrowed. Engaged, it is as useless, the sound is just bad. If you want a cheap pedal, check for other trends.
