Genuine, it works. That is all.
Yup, it’s a genuine HP standard size black ink cartridge. My (stupid printer that I am about to throw out) did read it. But I desperately needed some black ink and am not in budget to purchase a new printer right now. Of course this was a much cheaper option so it will suffice until my next printer purchase which will be ASAP. Print quality was good, can’t complain. It’s not the cartridge’s fault that it comes from such a greedy company. Please note that these are NOT refillable. In the past they were, but HP wants their $$ of course and changed the chips to deem the cartridge useless after x amount of pages printed. Anyway, these cartridges are super easy to install, they work well, though they are NOT a great value for the price, at all as they come with so little ink and will not print you very many pages. Hence the 4 stars. Blame HP.
