Great replacement when the time comes!
2nd pair I’ve bought and replaced. Last ones lasted me about 3 years. Great price, great quality, feel comfortable, fit like OEM and easy to replace.

Easy to replace!
They are just like the original ear sponges and the quality is really good. The feel is great and it fits my Bose headphones perfectly and snug. Works perfect and has no difference in noise cancelation mode. Easy to replace also. Great product!

FamilyCrazy ear pads for Bose
I have purchased Bose replacement headphones ear pad cushions before. These replacements although of good quality did not come with a tool bag like my others. Instead there was a crappie video of a lady quickly ripping the old pads off and simply pressing on the new ones. Don’t believe it. It doesn’t work that way. They go on easily if you use the tool. Luckily I kept the tool bag from my last pair and then they went on very easily. I might look for a different brand before I buy these because the tool is needed to install the pads.

I have a pair of Bose QuietComfort 2 headphones that I bought many years ago (yes, I paid about £250 at the time for a pair of headphones - I must have been mad). But, I admit, they are still extremely good for noise cancellation, and very comfortable. However, the soft 'leather' covering on the ear pads has started to dry, crack and peel away, and wearing them now they feel sticky, and leave bits of the covering on my ears. I haven't had the heart to throw them out, though, as they still work. So, coming across these replacement ear pads, I was eager to give them a try. They came well packaged, with new fabric inserts to stick on the inside to protect the connections and soften the sound. As you can see from the sequence of photos, the difference between my old ear pads and the new ones is quite stark! The old ones have yellow foam showing through the holes in the inner part of the pads, while the new ones have blue foam. Removing the old pads and fabric covers, and fitting the new ones was a breeze, although getting the new pads to 'click' into place all the way round took a bit of work. Don't be afraid to use some force to push the edges of the pads down into the plastic frames until you hear an solid 'click' - all the clips have to sit properly otherwise the pads will just spring back out. These pads have breathed new life into my tired old headphones and I expect to get several years more use out of them.

I'm on my third, yes THIRD set of these on my ae-iiw or whatever they are called, earphones. I dont know why they degrade so quickly, never known anything like it, consumable ear pads...whatever next. Nonetheless they take about 5 mins to swap and replacements are available so there's nothing not to like about these.

Replacing the original pads was a bit of a wrestling match, and several times I felt that these pads weren't ever going to go on. But with some patience, they fit perfectly, and are sure to stay in place. So far, I've had no concerns with them wanting to come off by themselves. The feel is exactly the same as the originals when they were new. Since the headphones are getting a bit older but still work like new, I may get another set or two of these pads to keep as spares.
