Protect and Perfect Intense Facial Serum 1 Ounce Bottle

At 46, I had started noticing a lot of little wrinkles popping up here and there on my face. I know it is part of the aging process but it is certainly not one I am going to embrace cheerfully and welcome with open arms. I read an article about the best wrinkle creams/lotions in a magazine and Boots No. 7 Intense Advanced Aging Serum scored high on their list and was reasonably priced. I decided to try it and bought my first bottle about six months ago. I was originally buying it online from a large chain drugstore because the Boots line is not available in the U.S. (UK product) and WG is the only place that carried it. Once I found it on Amazon, I started ordering it here. I was skeptical about whether or not I would see results from the Intense Advanced Aging Serum. So many creams and lotions make big claims that it is hard to believe the hype. However, the magazine had real people review this serum that I thought it was worth taking a chance on. I am SO glad I did. I have noticed a significant difference in my skin since I started using the Intense Advanced Aging serum. My crow's feet and laugh lines are less noticeable. My skin seems brighter and less puffy. I was so impressed with the Serum, I bought the rest of the products in the Intense Aging line, some of one of their other lotion lines, some of the Boots No. 7 makeup and some of the Boots Botanicals makeup products. I guess you can say I really liked this product a lot. 😆 One thing I will note is that this size bottle, with daily use (slightly larger than pea size), will last about one month. I was surprised by that initially because the bottle still looked like it had product in it. The bottle itself is frosted, though, and holds less product than it appears to. I accepted that this product was going to be a monthly purchase and definitely think it is worth it.

I LOVE this product line! I read the reviews and believe me, BELIEVE the hype. This stuff works and feels so silky and smooth on your skin. My skin is super clear and flawless for the first time in years (I suffer from acne). It is nongreasy, nonoily, does not clog pores, but somehow moisturizes. I already notice my fine lines around my eyes disappearing after using it for a month. I also use the Night Cream and Eye Cream. I don't notice a difference with the Eye Cream. I use the Night Cream around my eyes after applying this serum during the day and then apply my makeup. My husband has even commented that my skin looks very smooth. It makes your makeup go on very smoothly and does not feel greasy or irritate my skin whatsoever. I am highly sensitive to every daycream and eye cream I've tried. This is the first product line I can tolerate that does not make my eyes watery and red or burn my eyelids and corners of my eyes. If you have sensitive skin to other products, try this stuff. It's wonderful.

I originally heard this mentioned on the Dr. Phil show. They spoke so highly of it that I decided to give it a try to see if it lived up to the hype. I have not been using it long, but I LOVE the way it feels when it goes on! Light, soothing, moisturizing and not greasy! A tiny amount goes a LONG way. It's too soon to know if it will perform as advertised, but based on my experience with it so far, I am glad that I took the plunge and decided to try it. I have skin that is so sensitive, there are very few things I have ever been able to use on it without it forming tiny little cysts. So far, I have had no problem with with that with this product. If this goes well, I will add their other products. The product arrived quickly and well packaged. If this works as well as I hope it does, I will be ordering more! UPDATE: I have now been using this for 6 months. I am happy to say that I am still loving it! It is so nice to have something that my face does not react adversely to, I have gone most all of my life not using anything on my face because everything would make me get those little cysts. I am at an age now where I really need something, so I am so happy I heard about this and decided to try it. My skin is definitely feeling smoother and softer to the touch.

I used to use Estee Lauder Perfectionist serum, but it got to be too expensive. I loved the feel of Perfectionist, and couldn't find anything comparable for a decent price. I'd heard good things about Boots products, so I decided to give the serum (and day/night creams) a try. I have been using the Boots serum for several months now. It works no worse than expensive Estee Lauder. It does not get rid of/soften wrinkles (neither did Estee), but it does seems to keep the wrinkle situation from getting worse (also, same as Estee). So, if you are looking for a miracle, this isn't it. But if you want soft skin, you're trying to keep your skin from getting worse, and you are looking for a replacement for department store products/prices, this is a good product. I will keep using. It's as good as department store products, and better than drug store products in terms of quality and efficacy.
