I love this author's books - every one of them! And this is no different. In fact, I've found this particular author's perspective SO helpful that I've incorporated her work into every day of my life. Truly. This book, and her other Face Reading books combined have helped me INVALUABLY with my personal relationships - especially with my boyfriend. Without this work, it was easy to misinterpret people's behavior, mannerisms, quirks and habits, and I could often get frustrated and take things personally. But with this work, it's brought a whole new level of compassion, understanding and love into ALL of my personal interactions... from clients, to my family, my boyfriend, friends, etc. This book is an easy read, and makes this complex idea very bite-size and digestible... a great practical tool to use in all areas of human interaction. I can't say enough about this new book - and look forward to many more life-changing books by this author over my lifetime. She ranks in my top 5 authors of ALL time - in terms of the powerful impact her work has had on my life. And let me also note: I'm a HUGE sceptic, and a tough critic... and am not impressed by many things. But you won't go wrong with any of the books by this author - I assure you. ENJOY!

I am so glad I purchased this book. It is the first book in my entire life where the information provided made perfect sense. I am on the right path and I am fulfilling my purpose. The Sun Ki numbers definitions surprised me but were dead on. Read that again, dead on. My sister's numbers were too. One observation, some have complained about the charts being incomplete on the Kindle version. That is not so. At the bottom of page 17 where the Nine Star Ki chart is located, there is a black box with arrows inside at the bottom left of the page if you click on that, the chart expands into an entire page and you can then see all the numbers and their correspondence. You can even scroll up and down to find your birth year.

I am a fan of Jean Haner's work and first learned about her through Hay House Radio. The book is a quick and fun read but one that you will go back to over and over. The greatest thing is that not only do you gain insight into your personality - you can see what the energy was at any year and then compare it to what actually happened in your own life during that time. It surprising how many similarities occur! Plus I've been using the book to look up my friends, family and coworkers. Incredibly insightful and empowering! Just bought a copy for my mom.

This book is very interesting and really showed me some things about myself and children. I especially like the idea that it showed that we are in 9 year cycles and tells us what "year" we are in based on our birth. Having this information really confirmed what I was feeling and helps to show a person what they should do based on what year you are in. It may be a good year to sell your house, start a business or it may be a good year to reflect and not make any big moves, etc. I highly recommend it for anyone who would like to know more about themselves and their personality. It showed me that the way I am is right for when I was born. Now I understand why I do things in a certain way and that helped me feel better when others think I should do things their way.

Our lives unfold before us, we adopt a worldview based on what makes sense to us. How often on our pathway do we get such opportunity for enlightenment? Irregardless of our religion or our background or life experience in general, we sometimes must see past these things in order to survive, Jean Haners' Your Hidden Symmetry is an invaluable insight into tools to this end. To finally be enabled to live in harmony and have understanding of ourselves and others is such a beautiful gift. Let's embrace what this book teaches and let's live in understanding.

for the most part the book is filled with neat insights, but the stories of the people could have been left out, they took away from the books core value of information. i enjoyed it and would recommend this read.

I've read to the last page, but I'm far from finished with this book. I know that I'll keep returning to it, continue to find nuggets of information, and enjoy what I've learned for years to come. Jean Haner shares her information and insights well. She has a lot to say, and has done a wonderful job of presenting it. Based on her research of Chinese medicine and Nine Star Ki, this system is useful in understanding my personal way of dealing with life and the people I encounter. I can also learn about ancestors or other people of interest...anyone I can find a birthdate for is possible. It's very interesting to see how similar traits are expressed in different ways, and vice versa. Free will always finds a way. Read with an open mind, there can be many "aha!" moments in this book.

Amazingly spot on with everyone I have checked except one. I wonder if I'm just not seeing it. I always felt as if I were a bit off-putting. Now I know why--I'm a lady 6! It makes perfect sense. It helps me understand others who are vastly different from me, too, which keeps the lines of communication much clearer with less hurt feelings. Very happy with purchase. Now if I could just crack that one, a spouse, no less!
