Chase Bliss Audio Automatone Preamp MkII

A lot of reviews here on Amazon saying this pedal is worth every penny, and I suppose that's relative, but I guess you can add me to the club. This is the most expensive single pedal I've yet bought, but it is also my absolute favorite. I honestly wondered if I would have buyer's remorse, but from the second I plugged it in, this pedal has exceeded all expectations. It works amazingly with every amp I own. Also, it's cool factor is obviously beyond any other pedal on the market. I purchased this with a 12-months same as cash option, but I've already paid it off. Now that I'm done, I will NEVER think about how much I paid ever again. I will just continue to love and enjoy the best pedal I've bought in my guitar-playing life.

This thing is a monster and worth every single penny. I can find the tone for any song I cover and have found inspiration in writing my own stuff on a daily basis. I wish I had found this before I chucked money at ten other pedals that, while great, just don't measure up. This is the future of pedal making. I don't usually gel with company idolatry, but Chase Bliss is on to something big here. If you have the money and are on the fence, just take the dive. You wont be disappointed.

I was looking to simplify my pedal board and you would think this would make it more complicated but it allowed me to get the sounds I wanted from multiple pedals in one unit. Fuzz, Distortion, it does the work of 5 or 6 other pedals I used to use. It's so close to the sound of the originals I had before, Tube Screamer, Klon, Bluesbreaker, Fuzz Face. If you are on the fence check out the Pedal Show on youtube where they do a comparison to the originals and fine tune the settings.

Great pedal

Bought this product directly from Chase Bliss, and it stopped working after several days. After contacting support, they claimed it was improperly powered and proceeded to charge me $115 for a $10 fuse & a 5-minute fix. The pedal was powered with a 9v 500mA Strymon Ojai, which powered other 9v pedals, and currently still does. But someone it broke the MKII… yeah, I don’t think so. Garbage product, garbage company

It’s worth every penny!

I've had the Automatone for nearly a year and all other overdrives/fuzzes have been retired. This pedal does it all.
