Nice knife but donโt care for the type of grind that has, I prefer occ style carving knives and there prices are better

Razor sharp right out of the package. Great for hogging off large amounts of wood.
I'm very happy with the Flexcut products. I have this knife, a general carving knife, and a detail knife. All have more than lived up to their billing.

Best carving knife I ever bought
Just added this one to the set. Best roughing knife I ever bought. Easy to keep sharp. Just works like a dream. Easy to hold. I like to carve spoons and some times kuksa out of hard wood and burle.

good value for the money
I have never had a roughing knife and I am working on a carving where I need a long straight blade, this knife fit my needs to a "T"! Razor sharp out of the package great feel in the hand and it is doing what I want. I also learned another way to keep Flexcut knives sharp - great but!
