Q: Is it compatible with the android phone?

No. You will need LF RFID reader to read this card. HF RFID based Mifare and ICODE tags/smart cards only can be read by NFC enabled smartphones

Q: Will this work with alba rfid security systems?

Hello, It is always better to check with the Alba team and ask them if their rfid reader or the product that you are using from their company is compatible with LF ( Low Frequency) RFID smart card based on 125 KHz. If they say yes, you can use this cards with their product. Without understanding the product or reader specifications we cannot comment from our side on their behalf.

Q: How do you program these cards ?

LF ( 125KHz, Low Frequency) RFID smart cards do not have inbuilt memory and hence they cannot be programmed. These LF smart cards only have unique identification number (UID) and the same is used by various LF RFID readers to interact with the LF smart card. UID is always printed on the LF smart cards.

Q: Are these re-writable cards?

LF (Low Frequency, 125 KHz) cards are always READ ONLY cards. LF technology does not have re-writable cards. Though they have a UID ( unique Id number) but no extra memory available for writing like HF RFID card ( 13.56 MHz based Mifare smart card). So if you want to use re-writable then go for HF RFID ( 13.56 MHz based Mifare smart card). Look for RRHFSM01

Cards are useless

The cards have no ID or facility number printed on them, so they are utterly worthless. Guess I should've expected it for the cheap price.
