Exceptional Tone and Long-Lasting Performance!
These D’Addario XS Phosphor Bronze strings have completely won me over. Right out of the package, they felt smooth and played beautifully. The tone is warm and balanced—perfect for everything from fingerstyle to strumming. What really impressed me is how long they last. The ultra-thin coating protects without dulling the sound, and after weeks of regular playing, there's no fraying or loss of tone. Plus, they stay in tune exceptionally well thanks to the NY Steel core and Fusion Twist tech. The resealable packaging is a nice touch, and the Players Circle points are an incredible bonus. Made in the USA and clearly made with care—I'll definitely be sticking with these!

Great feel and sound!
Love these strings! Although they are more expensive than the non coated strings, they sound great, last quite a long time comparatively, and have a great feel. The coating allows you to slide seamlessly on the strings and make my fingers less fatigued over hours of playing. They hold their tune very well. For the gauge of the strings, they allow me to have a low action without any fret buzz. I would highly recommend.

BEST acoustic guitar strings
I've been playing acoustic guitar for twenty years. I've tried every string I could get my hands on. I usually gravitate toward D'Addario strings. Their standard phosphor bronze strings are what I typically use. The last time I restrung my guitar, I purchased Ernie Ball Earthwood strings at the recommendation of my local music store. I HATED them. From the moment I put them on, my guitar sounded so dead and lifeless. It was like I had put six month old, tarnished strings onto my guitar. Everything was so dull and muted. Cue the D'Addario coated phosphor bronze strings. After that terrible experience, I decided to splurge and buy some "expensive" strings. I knew I liked D'Addario, so I figured I'd like expensive D'Addario too. I had high expectations and I was still blown away by these strings. Night and day compared to the Earthwood strings. My guitar was load and bright and sang so beautifully. From the very first moment I strung them onto my guitar, before it was even tuned, I knew. These were the strings for me. They sound just as good, if not better than the standard D'Addario phosphor bronze strings, but the coating makes them so much more playable. String noise is greatly reduced. The strings are so smooth that my fingers glide up and down the fretboard effortlessly. They've been on my guitar for a few weeks now, and they still look and play like they're brand new. No hint of tarnish anywhere on the strings. At over double the price of the standard phosphor bronze strings, I don't think these would be more cost effective. I don't think I'll get over double the life out of these over a standard set of strings, but the added playability and longevity more than makes up for the price difference to me. I'll probably use these strings for the rest of my life.

Nice sound and they stay in tune.
Wonderful strings. These literally brought my Guild D55 back to life! Crisp highs, clear mid's and solid low's. So far, the durability has held up very well, even with alternate tunings. They've stayed very much in tune after installing and some quick, careful stretching, requiring minimal fine tuning after that. I will definitely purchase more when they eventually wear out.

Light Plus Gauge - Game Changer!
The Light Plus Gauge is a game changer! Not only do these strings carry the projection you would expect from a medium gauge string set, but it does so while keeping the feel closer to the light gauge strings. This is what I’ve been waiting for, and my guitars sound so full and resonant, with great projection and power, and a smooth feel. I recommend giving these strings a try, especially for those that have been waiting for a gauge in between lights and medium. Also, note that the strings don’t sound as good right after tuning them up. But they came into their own the following day.

I like D'Addario stings for my particular instrument.
Good sound, not too heavy on the coating, long lasting. I use the phosphor bronze. I used to use Elixirs and they are good strings but on the particular higher end acoustic I'm using, I tried a set of the Elixirs and honestly these D'Addario strings sounded much better, crisper, not squeaky and they last a good long time.

Great strings
These are my go to strings for my Martin. Worth the price for how long they last. Very well balanced tone and easy to play compared to some other strings of the same gauge

Good. After 2 months of everyday use, signs of fraying or corrosion are only present on some wound strings around 2nd and 3rd fret and on G string around picking area, but the strings still sound like new. This gauge has perfect balance of tone and tension across strings.

I have used many, many different brands of strings over the years and I really feel as though I have found the 'Holy Grail' with these ones. I believe Taylor put them on all of their new guitars as standard now, and I can completely understand why. They last FOR AGES! I play the life out of my guitar and I haven't seen any tarnishing at all. They take no time at all to 'bed in' and stay in tune well. Very easy strings to play, not too hard on the ol' fingers. Value for money as well due to the quality being so high. I genuinely believe if you fitted these to a mediocre or low end guitar, you would improve the sound quality drastically. They have such good tone and really bring my guitar to life.
