Reliable drywall anchors for hanging items
These hollow-wall anchors are great for securing items to drywall. The self-drilling design makes them easy to install without pre-drilling, and they hold firmly with minimal wall damage. The kit comes with plenty of anchors and screws so I always have the right size on hand. I've hung shelves and pictures with confidence using these. Highly recommend for quick and sturdy installation.

CBS home drywall anchor
I have a CBS home and the outer walls don’t have studs. The walls are block only. The space between the drywall and bock is about 21/2 inches deep. The heavy curtains my wife uses came down every few years. These anchors are the best I have found. Two inch toggle bolts don’t open they don’t clear the drywall. These open and are holding great.

They don't work
If you look at the pictures, it is very easy to see how these wall anchors are supposed to work. You drill a hole in your drywall, squeeze the wall anchor so that it is extended out and will fit into the hole, then when you drive the screw in it is supposed to engage the back of the anchor, pull it forward and the hinged edges expand out to disperse the load across the back of the wall board similar to a toggle bolt. When fully extended the screws provided aren't long enough to engage the back of the anchor. So, you need to buy longer screws, extra $$$. Even if you use longer screws the plastic used to make the anchors is of very low quality. I had several shred themselves as the anchor started to cinch up. Pass this product by. Find something else.

Nah too soft.
Spun inside sheet rock and tore up. Too much pressure makes them turn maybe. Kept waiting for it tighten up.

Very solid, heavy duty dry wall anchor.
Very solid installation for heavy duty work. Not sure they are self drilling? I think a problem that people encounter is over-tightening. Wall board anchors are one of those applications where using a drill-driver is counter productive v using a screw driver.. you want to feel the resistance and then STOP.

good work for anchors
the only thing i was not very happy is that anchors need a little longer bolt so it can easily enter on the anchor and pull agains the wall, but after a few trays, it works and its maintining a big TV of 65 size on my room.

No regrets
Very well-made super easy to use really holds tight in your drywall a lot better than any other one I’ve used so far

Great idea with major flaw
This design is brilliant for mounting on drywall, the major flaw brings it from 5 stars to two. The problem is the screws which grab the end piece then draw the unit closer and spread for solid anchor are too short. It works great holding the pieces in your hand, but when you straighten it out for inserting into the wall, place the handrail mount in position then drive the screw, it doesn't reach the end which is necessary to draw the piece together, the screw just spins in space. If the screws were a quarter inch longer it would work perfectly. To finish my project I need to go to a hardware store and buy the proper screws. The only way this would work as shipped would be if you were trying to mount a thin metal plate to the wall. Anything else like a curtain rod or Bannister mount is too thick for the screws to work as intended. It is sad, this is one of the best designs I have seen for a drywall anchor if only it would work
