My fiancé wanted the "chair" but mistakenly ordered the "hammock". We considered returning it but was impressed with the style and quality of this product. So, we kept it and ordered the chair that she originally wanted.

I can't really call myself a hammock expert, but I like this one more than most I've been in. It is very comfortable for one person and works pretty well for two. If I had to choose between this and any hammock with a wooden bar, I would always choose the Yellow Leaf Hammock. Pros -lightweight -easy to set up/take down/store -comfortable Cons Nothing really comes to mind

It is a hammock as described. The disappointment is in the material. Very stringy and probably wouldn't use it for more than kids. It is not a hammock that gives you a lot of confidence.

This is the most comfortable and well made hammock I have ever laid in. It is soft and it feels like floating on a cloud. Because there are so many threads, there are no pressure points like you get with wider net or rope hammocks. It is super light and also looks great.

I tried a few of these Yellow Leaf hammocks. The marketing is somewhere between sincere, sappy, and greenwashing. They make is sound like indigenous artisans are making a great earning off these, but it's super opaque whether they earn more than $5/day for hours of work. But my main gripe is the hammock itself. It's not that comfortable (though the threads are quite soft), and you tend to push through gaps, and it's hard to spread out the weave to get comfortable. Also, it had a curious smell, a bit like gasoline or smoke, which hasn't fully dissipated for a few days (this smell was in more than one hammock). All in all, this is a lot of money for a not very comfortable hammock. Tested with variously sized adults and children.
