Genuine Leather Messenger Bag, Carry in Hand or Over The Shoulders, for Work, Travel or College

My bag arrived today, everything looks well-stitched and glued. I like that the strap is nice and long, wide enough, and canvas on one side. The Canvas keeps the strap slipping, and really, if you wore the bag shirtless and in hotter weather, the canvas lined strap won't stick to you like leather would. I thought this was a very thoughtful design element. The bag itself is roomy enough for my keys, diary, wallet, phone, Nintendo switch lite, hand sanitizer, lip balm... a sundry of little items. I read a review about the hardware being "clunky" but I think it's appropriately sized, and zips smoothly. The magnetic buckles leave something to be desired, but I'm old school enough to think normal buckles would have been better. So that's just my opinion, mayhap you like magnetic buckles. I think if the button portion were just a touch larger they'd be snappier magnets, but probably with wear the leather will soften up and it won't be an issue. Not enough of an issue for me to not like the bag or to want to send it back or rate it any lower, real buckles make for a more expensive bag (and this one was 45$)

Overall I would not purchase this bag again and I will most likely be returning it. It has stitching coming undone outside & inside the bag, something sticky in a spot (looks just like a distressed spot in the photo but it's actually white and sticky), the hardware is clunky and doesn't close unless pushed closed. The front magnetic snaps under the buckles have to be lined up perfectly for them to close. You can't just drop the flap and it magnetically close. The bag is quite heavy. The leather is thick and stiff from the box, soften with usage I'm sure. On the back the left side is shiny and the right is matte. Came with a dust bag and the zippers are smooth which are my only two real like of this bag. The inside lining of the bag smells disgusting. I've had it outside in the sun for two days and it still smells. Even though it's leather and may hold up on the outside the other things outweigh those by a ton. Update: I ended up keeping this bag, and have used it for one month and 2 days. Two zippers have broken & the back one sticks. The leather has softened. The smell has went away slightly since I stuffed vanilla soaked paper towels in the bottom of all the pockets but it does still stink. The I side lining has ripped amd more stitching undone on the outside. Putting my wallet, chapstick, phone, ink pen, and small notebook make this almost impossible to carry comfortably it's so heavy. Perhaps the one I received was just from a bad batch since the other reviews are so good. Definitely not my experience.

The bag was beautiful and a great price but I had to return it because the color was just off for me. It wasn’t the correct brown, more like a red/orang brown. Mother than the color I really loved the bag and the construction.

This messenger bag is built well. It is good looking and durable. My only concern is that it says it had a padded wall to protect tablets etc. It does have a padded wall, but the padding is thin. It is not the thick padding I expected. I still like it though.

Love this bag! It is beautiful and I love that it comes with a dust bag to place it in when not in use. It is very well crafted.
