Great product. My son used them for his project on big cats. It was a success, and good for education, also for demonstrations and learning. A great choice of toys.

My 3-year old loves animals so we have purchased quite a few of these animal toobs over the years. I got this one for his birthday. As expected, the figurines look fairly realistic and they are easy for by kids to play with. I also liked that these cats were all slightly different from the numerous others that we already have. We got this one specifically to get a white tiger.

Excellent quality

We like very much Safari toys for our 6 year-old daughter because of the quality, shape, colors, and because on each figure it is its name. However, this was not the case (about the name): Almost 6 or 7 of the 10 cats do not have the name on it and they seem to be of lower quality as the rest of them. She loves jaguars and panthers, but exactly those two do not have the name of it. We are having fun with them and the toy is very nice, except for the names. I would recommend it.

I bought these as teaching aids to help my kids learn about different animals. Concepts are so much easier for them to grasp if they can hold and play with the animals they're leaning about, rather than just reading about them in a book. The animals are well crafted, the pieces have been nicely painted and they're fairly detailed which helps them look more realistic. They also have their names on the underside in case you need help identifying what they are. Most of the pieces in this set stand up on their own fairly well, although some are a little wobbly. The only thing I find a little cumbersome is the tube itself. While it's great for storing, it's compact size and odd shape makes it difficult to get the animals in and out - the rope handle also seems to get in the way. Other than the somewhat troublesome tube, the animals in this set are great and I will definitely be buying more of these collections.

A fun collectable item

I have brought safari Toobs before, insects and animals. the quality is amazing and the packaging is really nice also. very durable and realistic, my son loves these and a great way to educate him on appreciation of other living creations by God. As he is fascinated by lions, tigers, cheetahs I decided to get him this great collection of Big Cats. Great idea and value deal, could not have asked for a better product/idea. Safari Ltd should also do one on wolves and other similar grouped animals.

We bought a large selection of these for "potty" prizes for my little girl. She loves her animals and loves these little toys. These animals are small, only about two inches, and have the detail you would expect for the price. If you are expecting heavy, highly detailed items you will be disappointed - these are little plastic animals. One notable "flaw" is these animals have no relative size (so the ocelot is the same size as the tiger). They've taken quite a beating without falling apart as well.
