Good Quality, easy installation, value for money

I ordered 5 units, and they fit well and look fantastic on the car. Out of the 5, one had some internal rusting on the metal plate, which was a little disappointing. However, the overall quality and appearance are good, and I’m happy with the purchase.

Product is nice, got it for 250rs, had some diy idea so will use it later. Quality is as described and packaging was good.

It’s a good product for the price and will surely save corner edges of car door. But the biggest flaw is that dust tends to get stuck in the crevices of the claws and can get potential risk of metal erosion of the doors eventually. Wouldn’t recommend for cars in any coastal areas. The only reason for 3 stars is the long term challenges it may pose.

If you have bought this edge trim to prevent accidental damage to the car door edges then this is the right choice. It does it's primary and only job, well. If you expect a reduction in road noise, reduction in dust ingress, keeping water or or any other imagined secondary use, this door trim, or any other door edge trim, is not good for anything else. Fitting is very easy but remember to clean the edges and make that dust/dirt free by cleaning with a damp cloth or iso propyl alcohol. Press the open edges close to each other before fitting the trim on the door. I pushed a 1" rubber bottom cap onto a pien ball hammer to tap the trim tightly onto the door edge. Another precaution that you need to take is to ensure that the ends are located in such a position that cleaning water or rain water does not get into the edges. Since the trim has steel rings on the inside, there is a possibility of invisible rusting. The roll comes without adhesive. Just to avoid peeling off during pressure wash, used very little mild adhesive on the edge. I applied that through a adhesive spray. Apply the adhesive only if you have iso propyl alcohol to remove all traces later. 5m is required for 2 doors and another 5m for the other 2 doors. If you want to do the boot as well, you will have about 2.5m left over from the three rolls of 5m each that you may buy. For complete protection and no-joints, buy 3 packs of 5m rolls. I used 2.5 rolls of black colour trim on my red Suzuki Celerio. I will do the same on my serene blue Ertiga as well.
