This is a surprisingly good perfume for the price. It doesn't smell cheap at all. Smells like any high quality, expensive perfume you would buy at the department stores. If the love the smell of fresh fragrant flowers, you will like this. I am very selective and critical of perfumes and have spent upwards of $200 a bottle. This has a delicious, slightly sweet scent when you first spray it on , then it dries down to a wonderfully rich, warm flower scent that lasts for hours. I would say this comes as close to the smell of true gardenia as I have experienced and such a bargain! I took a chance on this perfume because of the reviews and its reputation and I'm so glad I did! It did not disappoint!

Absolutely amazing. It was the safest blind buy for me. I love gardenia, and was honestly expecting this to be bitter and sharp/very green and earthy smelling. It’s very sweet. It smells like a fresh gardenia, mixed with sugar and a hint of green apple (maybe I’m crazy). It dries down more floral though but it’s still beautiful. For me it lasted a whole 9 hour shift and then some. The bottle is heavy and for the price, it is SO worth it. Def my new favorite and signature. Would recommend to anyone who loves fruity florals or sweet florals.

Favorite perfume! Quick and easy delivery, well packed. Will be buying again.

Elizabeth Taylor Women's Perfume, Eau de Parfum Spray, Gardenia, 3.3 Fl Oz Although I've been a fan of Liz Taylor perfumes for decades, this one was not what I expected. I was after something like Jungle Gardenia & this was not even close. The scent is pleasant when first applied, but it's a weak, watered down version of what I expected & the scent didn't even last until I made it to the door. Gardenia is not what would not be guessed if you asked someone to guess the scent. Tried it on my clothes & on my skin. Didn't seem to matter. Would only give 3 stars, but because the bottle is so exquisite (the picture on the Amazon description doesn't do it justice IMHO), I added 1 star back as I like how it looks among my other perfumes on my dressing table. But if you're looking for a Gardenia fragrance, keep on searching Amazon.

I am almost out of my Chanel gardenia perfume and have been looking for a replacement for some time. Had a bit of sticker shock when I learned that the actual replacement is almost $600! Took a chance on this one and I'm so glad I did. It's not an exact match, maybe a little sweeter. But it's very similar. Definitely does not smell like an old lady, which was a concern. I highly recommend.

WOW! This scent is strong gardenia. Going outside and smelling gardenias is one thing, but this, like Stargazer Lilies, this can be overwhelming when right on you, unable to escape. Pretty soon you will go nose-deaf to it. It’s not all bad, just not as gentle as I had hoped.

I’m very pleased with this bottle of perfume. While this isn’t an exact match to what gardenias smell like, it is SO close. Almost exactly like the real thing. The moment I took a whiff of this scent, I felt myself being whisked back to my childhood and into the memories of buying accessories made with gardenia flowers and buds from street vendors in Shanghai. Although it can’t perfectly match the freshness and sweetness of the real thing, it will make anyone who loves the smell of gardenias happy. For the price especially! I can tell that this perfume is not as strong as perhaps some more expensive ones but you really can’t be mad at it given the price.

It smells really good, but I prefer using it as a room spray. It’s a bit too intense to wear as a body spray.

This is really a long lasting perfume. The smell is really intense after spraying that settles after two minutes and lingers. I find a bit of coconut in it too but I guess everyone's chemestry with this smell is different but yes gardenia is there and it's a good one If you love flowery scent go for it. Arriving took more than a month so it was a bit irritating packaging was also old but as the perfume is fine so I let it slide thank you amazon.

Found out about this product from a YouTube perfume specialist who said it was a greatly undervalued classic floral scent. I used to love Jo Malone Vintage Gardenia, but I've not seen it recently. Apparently gardenia is difficult to recrecreate. I find this quite good, although it is not as long-lasting as Jo's version. The bottle is an attractive art deco shape, made of glass and a vibrant green colour and there is a generous amount of product. (The box it comes in is rather uninspiring.) Definately worth trying if you like gardenias. I'm pleased I bought this scent and would consider doing so again.
