Remember, it is painter's tape!
It's not permanent tape. It is made to peal off and it does. I found it very easy to work with. It stuck when it needed to stick and it came off when I wanted it off. This extra wide roll is what you would normally use for painting, but I was doing an unusual job and it came in handy.

Great Coverage and Clean Removal - Perfect for Crafting Projects
I use this wide painter's tape for various crafting and DIY projects. The 6-inch width is great for covering large areas quickly, and it sticks well without damaging surfaces. I've left it on for several days and it still peeled off cleanly without leaving residue. Perfect for resin molds, painting, and even taping off areas during woodworking. The roll lasts a while and is worth the price for how reliable it is.

Used for 3D printing on glass bed for adhesion
Worked better than thinner tape but not as good as just replacing with a magnetic bed.

Good width to fit most 3D printer beds, but the adhesive is weaker than other tape brands.
The Good: 12" width fits perfect on my 3D printer bed without having to cut to fit. The Bad: The adhesive is kind of weak, it starts to peel up on it's own within ~30mins of just sitting. Not sure the brand of my 9" roll I tried to replace with this roll, but but the old 9" roll does not peel up on it's own. Would have given 5 stars if the adhesive was a bit stronger.

Easy to use
I thought I might have trouble ripping pieces straight down but it's actually super easy. I'm using these to stick to the back of wood pieces that I'm adding resin to and the tape pulls off the wood pretty easily but leaves a sticky residue on the resin sometimes. I wonder if it's because I'm adding heat to cause the resin to cure faster. Otherwise, the tape works great, is easy to tear to the size I want, and pulls off the wood with no problems.

Tears off in chunks.
*Very* sticky. *too* sticky. Can't get a piece more than about 3 by 4 inches off the roll before the tape tears. Impossible to get a piece the whole width off. Do not order. Whatever you do manage to get off the roll will stick too hard, and may cause damage to underlying surfaces. Tried this as a mask for laser cutter, total fail.

JUST WHAT I NEDED! This worked perfect
I saw the reviews and was nervous about buying this. I have now used over half the roll on projects with my laser engraver and even if the edge pick up a little bit dust or crap from the work area it still has worked amazing. It peels extremely smoothly and if you fold over the edge when done starting the next piece is super simple. I have used it on everything from Glass, wood, aluminum, to acrylic. I will being buying it again and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone else to buy it also.

Good for 3d printing
If you like to 3d print using painters tape, this guy works very well. It is slightly wider than the 140mm print area on my Flashforge Finder. It's a little tricky laying it down wrinkle free due to the width but you get no seams from putting multiple strips next to each other. The cost seems a little high but I estimate about 300 prints per roll. Not bad. I also put purple glue stick on the tape, just to give the plastic a bit more chance to stick.
